If I decide to keep my 6.4 when it goes. I will make the trip to Anthony for him to rebuild it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. He is the only true mechanic/ technician that actually mechanics and not just a scanner reader and parts changer. Heck I can change parts. I guess I had a good teacher for my dad was a diesel mechanic. But it was before computers and EPA 💩! Great job to you and Julie on the video!

But Anthony...the SRT on that job is 0.5hrs...the customer is waiting...hahaha! Great job and this is the difference in attention to detail that should make your customers rest easy while pulling a grade with one of your engines! 💯👍👍👍

Does this only apply when the heads are off?

Diesel Tech Ron’s video shows the plate setting on the 2 dowels but also glueing down with 3m adhesive spray. What’s so hard about that?

I mean when reinstalling the bed plate on a 6.0. Which I will be installing when I get my new long block in and I was just trying to get some insight prior to doing so. In diesel tech Ron’s video it shows him setting the bed plate on the 2 dowels. If the bed plate is set on the 2 dowels (on each side) prior to installing the front cover how can it move causing all these bearing issues as you speak? And I’m not sure why you would have to take the pistons/rods and crank apart to install a bed plate (if I didn’t say that right forgive me).

Forgive me of my ignorance brother. But the bed plate is NOT the front cover plate correct? If not I am so sorry and I thought that is what you meant. If so, DISREGARD LOL! And thank you for the insight for the issues that can cause and not to change that! I see now!!! Again sorry.
