Hi Brad. With your video i really get a hope everyday that things will get fine with my ex someday. I'm in forst week of no contact after begging and pleading a lot after a breakup 😭

Try to play your cards right and make sure you redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hau5qqCPo7Z5is0 Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGjdpouhYtiJqas It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHyWqaicetx4fMk The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

Sorry to hear that. If she isn't receptive to contact even after giving her space, that's bad news, I'm afraid, and yes, consider moving on. However, if you've only recently broken up (like a month or so), then you actually really ought to give her space first and not push it.

Hi Brad, my ex called me after the 4th day of no contact rule. What do I do now? Should I call them back or finish the 30days?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning Жыл бұрын
What was the call in regards to? Unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5zCZaqmoLtpbMU AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWjMdGCdfdKNaKM it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you during the no contact stage, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. Discussed that in full detail here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYXNdnR9f7yHq6M So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses their power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJiyeGypZsuUmZo

Hey Brad, what if your ex told you that you were a great person that had a great personality, but that you just weren't meant for them because of certain behaviors/traits they didn't really mention/clarify during a break up text? I've been in no contact for 22 days now. Amicably accepted it and didn't beg or plead for her to change her mind.
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 3 жыл бұрын
Good! Use the time for self improvement and learn your lessons and start to move forward. Watch this, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpSWeoWbo82SaZI but if you wanna give it a shot, then once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqDRfqeCe9RjZpI but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLLfqWjrJiGo9U This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas Good luck!

Thanks for this Brad. I am part of your email coaching as well. When she followed me on Instagram, I did all of the things you mentioned in the video but never followed her back. That could have been why after she reached out and I was nice and cool but didn’t try to go out with her, she then unfollowed me. My advice to all guys in my situation, if your ex has an anxious attachment style, just accept her request to get together. Don’t do what I did because now I feel I’m back to square one
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Glenn, as what I've said, give it more time. She will likely ask again if it was really her intention to see you, she will make an effort. But as it is, it's barely even a month since you broke up, so I suggest you use this time to work on self improvement. You don't wanna be stuck in the same dynamic with her if you get back together too quickly, you'd want to build a healthier, happier relationship with her, right? So don't rush it. Good things take time, so stay strong and don't overanalyze about what you did and didn't do.

Should i still apply the no contact rule if it was to risk losing her to a rebound relationship? As you can see, the tips on the vids are steps you can take for yourself. It all starts with yourself. Now when you're ready, and assuming you've done the first phase properly, which is the 30-day "no contact" rule, then you should be in a position to be ready to test the waters with your ex. Here's how you can tell you're doing it correctly: y2u.be/f7zuXk-sVsI You may want to tick off the checklist here as well: y2u.be/BAhMrmw3Sms Now once you're positive you've done all that's mentioned, you can proceed to contact your ex. Start with the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6wp2yin8mloc0 AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3_CiXSdfc-UfK8 but make sure to check out my other vids for more texting tips you can send your ex or get my guide for the complete step-by-step details on how to go about it. If you've reached out to your ex only fairly recently, and assuming you've correctly employed the 30-day "no contact" rule, then that's a normal reaction from your ex. Here, watch this to help you understand things better: y2u.be/CP8FQlvDuVU But what sort of messages have you been sending your ex? It's a different story if you've been trying for so long with all the right moves and still stuck in the friendzone, but I don't think that's the case with you. Focus on the second and third phases instead. It helps to learn the basics here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas and/or better yet, read my guide to guide you every step of the way, at www.breakupbrad.com Good luck!

Consider moving on from this, especially if it was just a fling to either you or your short-term ex. My program is all about regaining that lost attraction. However, there may not be anything to rebuild here if that's the case because there wasn't any long term bonding or attraction that naturally develops in long term relationships. On the brighter side, here's how the "no contact" rule will work for you, though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apjUoGeIn9aIptE However, you may want to improve your dating skills and Amy North may has a ton of tips on what to do about that, so check out her channel, too. Should you apologize and show you’ve learned from your mistakes before the no contact? Or should you do it after? It’s been 2 weeks since we broke up and I have had some contact as we lived together, so I have had to organize times for me to grab my stuff and what not, hopefully that doesn’t hurt my chances too much. But I’m not sure when the right time to apologize is.
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning Жыл бұрын
Do it after and certainly after you've given both the time and effort for these changes. Also if you do have to make some changes, then do it for yourself and never for anyone else, okay? See, making changes for the sake of someone is considered seeking validation, and that's an unattractive trait in and of itself… so it naturally won't do anything to rebuild the attraction necessary to get your ex back in the long run. On the other hand, if these are changes that you know within yourself that you need to make, then it's important to take time so be sure you aren’t rushing it because permanent, lasting changes don't happen overnight and your ex can actually see through it. Also, pain (that's why your ex dumped you) is a very good teacher and motivator not to mention a huge catalyst, so making these changes within yourself in order for the possibility to come back together stronger and better is what you can expect and you will be able to use this progress if not for your ex, then with someone new. Does that make sense? With that in mind, watch this vid to subtly show these changes to your ex: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIuUfJiqdrGNqMU

Getting an ex back is a gradual process, so there's no one-action solution for this. Okay? This vid contains an infograph that might be of help to you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXvXnomYedCVotk but watch this too as this contains equally important information: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eH23cmevn7mWaKs The "no contact" phase is a good start, so do that first if you haven’t yet, for 30 days. If you have, then I'm glad you've completed it. There are two more phases to go with a few other steps in between (in the right order). What I'm trying to say here is it's a 3-phase process, and it's a bit complicated to explain it all on here, but I made an overview in the hopes of making people understand, so watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas or read my guide for the entire process. @BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 жыл бұрын
By begging, it shows how you're not respecting your ex's need for space and time at the moment. Can't you see? In other words, you're making it hard for your ex to be attracted to you again. Your best bet is still to cut off contact completely for around a month or even more in order to clear your heads. You'd increase your chances of getting your ex back if you've got your sh*t together than if you were doing the opposite of the no contact rule which is begging/pleading or negotiating/trying to woo your ex again. Well, there are a few rare who take their exes back if you beg/plead but it hardly ever lasts since these people are taking their exes back out of pity. So my point is, don't let your ex take you back out of pity, all right? Here are 5 keys you need to remember when it comes to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4uZn5x5gbqIbKc The best way to avoid that is to work on yourself and get your life together by having fun, hobbies, etc. and to stop chasing your ex. I've made numerous videos about the "no contact" rule and why it's important. Check those out. Also watch the stories here and try not to be a statistic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4bCeoKjbdSZfNE

@BradBrowning

I get this question a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if you've found your answer before I even get to it -- if you've checked my other videos, that is. In this type of situation, try to limit your contact with your ex. And by that I mean only interact with him/her "only" when absolutely necessary. Watch one of the latest videos I've posted here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnW9o6GEnZ1_hck Your case is actually one of the few cases where the “no contact” rule is an exception...but DON'T initiate random contact in any way and don’t make any unnecessary chitchats, all right? I've discussed it in these videos, as well as how to handle it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHzLf3ueetKMg8k but read my Ex Factor Guide because you still ought to go through the basics as well. I've posted an overview on how to get your ex back on an earlier vid,check it out as it's all there, but with the guide, you'll have an in-depth view on how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, etc. since good timing is essential at www.breakupbrad.com Okay? Take care!

My ex has this feeling that I learnt to all those positive stuff like working out, taking career seriously only because he broke up with me and that I’d have never changed if he didn’t break up with me. Is possible that it’ll change with time? Already in 2 months NC.
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 жыл бұрын
If you do have to make some changes, then do it for yourself and never for anyone else, okay?

Hi, my ex-boyfriend and I broke up 3 weeks ago, in the first week I made the mistake of contacting him, but I already have 9 days of no contact, I heard that he is super desperate to have a relationship just for sex because he had started something with a girl but she was serious and didn't want to get emotionally involved, do I still have a chance? he blocked me everywhere and I can't contact him but we still have common places to go out and see each other by chance, should I avoid him?

The 30-day "no contact" rule can work for you in the following ways: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k Your ex is diverting his attention to someone else, which is the easiest thing to do and is really just his way of coping. If anything, your ex is suffering, too, even though it may not seem like it. Discussed that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXyoZ6GYaZKhmqM So that's what you ought to be doing too. Here, watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYalf5dspal8hK8 so try to put your focus elsewhere because your ex is likely rebounding and you're only wasting precious minutes of your life worrying about something that's out of your control. @BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 3 жыл бұрын
I'd still suggest to give the "no contact" rule a shot because that's still really your best bet, which will work in a sense where you BOTH will get to clear your mind to be in a better position to deal with each other when the time comes - instead of letting emotions overrule everything, risking things to get blown out of proportion even further. Makes sense? But will no contact ALONE work to get your ex back? Sometimes it does, but other times (especially if your situation is unique) it won't, because the no contact phase is only part one of the three-step process I teach in my Ex Factor Guide. Learn the basics here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas I also made a quick vid to those who are seemingly lost and could use a reminder on what to do: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZOleqeqhriUoZY

I'm even in the very early stages of a new relationship. It's not the most perfect of situations, it's a long distance relationship, but it works for me after 8 years living with someone. This new relationship is giving me the love and attention I crave, yet also giving me the space I need, yeah we both understand they may be obstacles, and it may not last long, but at the moment it's just right. If you have to forget everything he did, make sure it's for a good reason. i.e: he regrets it and is doing everything in his power to get you back, NOT the other way around. Okay? If you do, he will only walk all over you, and that's not a good thing for you, for the marriage or to anyone involved. When and only when he does these things can you apply the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH_EaaGPo9Wiqa8 For now, it might be best to consider moving on or filing for a divorce especially if he has zero resentments. It's still your best bet towards your own healing first, which is needed if you're going to get your ex back. Play your cards right and notice the world of difference that this can make. Stick to the "no contact" rule this time for at least 30 days. Here's how you can tell it's starting to work: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imW2q2l6nryFqbM AND the importance of silence after the breakup here: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw and in the meantime, this is the principle you ought to follow: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5fFmIhtq5WBr5Y A situation with an ex is often fragile, so you'd really want to omit, if not minimize these mistakes. Start with the 30-day straight "no contact rule. It’s one step forward, two steps backward with an ex & there are no unlimited chances with them, so if you can do it right moving forward, then do so. Check out my guide so you won't end up making the same mistakes. Good luck!

hey brad, my ex said that we would be happier apart when we broke up and i’m worried by posting i’m doing better and doing good things he’s just gonna think he was right and and be happy that he did it. although he said we would be happier because of other issues we had like me being clingy and jealous and him struggling to communicate and we also have only done 2 weeks on long distance which freaked him out. i just can’t tell if he just said it to make himself feel better or if he really wants to see me happier without him. He wanted to see what college would be like without being together and i’m scared he will become so distracted by that that he will forget he even misses me. Do you think he meant what he said when he dumped me or just said it to make it easier on himself? to me it didn’t seem like him when he did it and he had been influenced by new friends so i’m hoping the no contact period will make him realize he didn’t actually feel that way. Please let me know what you think the best plan of action is here.
@BradBrowning

As mentioned in this video about how your ex needs to learn these lessons before you can reunite, cutting off contact is really to your best interest. Making him see you're sad/depressed or how much you're affected by the breakup is only going to boost his ego but not his attraction for you as opposed to you living your best life. Independence is key to attraction because the last thing your ex wants you to do is to cling to him or fight for the relationship when it's already dead. Unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWjMdGCdfdKNaKM it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. Discussed that in full detail here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYXNdnR9f7yHq6M So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses his/her power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Hi Brad, me and my ex dated for 3 years. I had some serious issues, communication, agression and jealousy. It began very nicely and there were big plans, but he gradually lowered all the expectations, and after the 1000th betrayal from my side (I've never cheated or something, just broke up with him by every liitle problem... I konw, I had some baggage there) he left me. I accepted as its the best for him. No contact for 3 months, then we got back together for 2 months, But I did ruined it because he told me he wants to do just nice things and be together without commitments. Eventually it was more and more intimate and just like before. But One day I did snapped and I wansnt satisfied with what I had, him. So he broke up again. I was clingy and idk. Now we are at the 1 week no contact, he reached out once already and me too once. Conversation was light and good. I want this man back, Im changing every day a bit, working on myself hard. I feel so deep connenction and just like he was my soulmate if that is a real thing. I know he does too. But he was telling me everyone leaves him allways, his ex cheated on him too, so I dont want to create jealousy. I go further with my healing and working on myself, hopefully he will come back because we were so happy together, allways. Well, I wont give up the hope, ever!

Try to see what roles you both played that contributed to that toxicity. Time apart is very much needed here for her to learn those lessons as well and thus, it's still important to put the full 30-day straight "no contact" rule into priority because if you've been in touch after the breakup too soon, then you BOTH aren't taking the time needed to process the breakup and been acting like it hadn't happened. Here's how not contacting your ex can help you a lot: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k Burying the problems which had caused the breakup in the first place is a surefire way towards a doomed relationship, if you get your ex back. I don't think there is really any lessons my ex can learn. Yes, me and her both were too sexually attracted to each other and there isn't much of a lesson needed to learn there. Unfortunately, she broke up with me due to my controlling and jealous nature and I did some things that drove her to finally breaking up after a 2 year relationship. After a month of breaking up she went straight to dating a guy that happened to be the guy I was jealous of. I have already apologized for my actions and may have made some mistakes during the break up period but I do hope that one day she would forgive me for my mistakes and that our relationship can one day repair itself. Of course I would have to improve myself and completely remove all my insecurities to prevent anymore controlling or toxic behavior.

Your doubts or jealousy may have been warranted in the first place? A healthy sense of optimism is needed indeed along with viewing the situation for what it is so as not to look at it with rose coloured glasses. This means you ought to have a balanced approach but cutting off contact will naturally help you with that, so try to stick to that rule for 30 days. One way to go about this is to not get too caught up with getting your ex back so you will allow for stuff to play naturally while playing your cards right , which is what my videos and/or my Ex Factor Guide is for. If you still can't help it, go ahead and sign up for my coaching program so I can guide you accordingly at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching but really try to have that sense of independence without your ex first. You need to be able to rely on yourself before you're in a position to get an ex back. Apply the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoLIXmd3YqijjLs but this is the overview of what needs to happen, it helps to review it: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw Good luck!

Good! Like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. You know your situation and your ex best. Sometimes a relationship can be salvaged and worth the save but sometimes it isn't, especially if there's cheating or some other type of abuse involved.

Yes, talking to a trusted source should help! :-) Your mom, just like what I'm trying to advocate, would likely teach you how to love and value yourself first and not chase someone who has dumped you. Best of luck!

How long do I wait to actually give in to intimacy to remind him what he has been missing and get that love again? I know after the no contact, but after a few get- togethers or after a kiss or 2? When do I start showing him that I am still interested too and talking like it?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 жыл бұрын
I'd go for the latter, after the physical intimacy. Show him you're interested only after some time when your ex has done the same. Otherwise, keep it casual... and fun! Here, watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oImxfp6rmritsNU

What if u never had sex together? By d way we were working on getting serious & knowing each other! I apologized to him for lying i got a kid& gave reasons y i did dat but he got mad& wanted me to keep begging! So i stopped & asked if he wants this all over or we should sit& talk? He said he’s done and i said ok! D next minute i stepped out to go& have fun, he saw it on my status & said i have 20mins to go back home 😂 if not he’ll never talk to me again! Knowing d way I’m stubborn & i don’t like someone ordering me like a kid or controlling me, i just sent a lol& didn’t answer! He then said we done for gud! I wonder if der 2types of breaking up! Anyways,Since den he’s been watching my status each time i post though we don’t talk! Should i also remove him from viewing my status for like 1week or 2 b4 letting him view it back? I mean to ensure complete no contact

It doesn't matter whether or not you've slept with him but hopefully you've been together long enough that something was actually established between you two? It's obvious the lie had really hurt him and at this point, it's very important to give it time to let whatever anger and hurt there is between you two, especially from your ex's side, subside. Sometimes it takes a month but oftentimes it takes longer or shorter depending on the situation. You simply cannot rush this. An apology is in order, too. @BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you have to be able to let go in order to get a chance of fixing things, as odd as that may sound. You have to be able to come from a space of not needing anyone. But as it is,, the decision is ultimately up to you since you know your relationship and your ex better than anyone else on here. And alas, not every ex is worth all the trouble. It's up to you to decide who is worth fighting for at one of the toughest of battles you face in your relationship. Best of luck!

Nice videos, but nothing in this world would make a girl or guy come back if they simply don't love you. And boys why. Why would you want your ex back , is it because of the memories you shared, is it because your ego got hurt? Me and my girl broke up, but after about 2 weeks no talk , I miss her, but I'm having an awesome time. And yes I think but us from time to time and our awesome sex life , but like she. Women will tell you they love you one day and 2 days later tell you" I don't think we ware good for each other. Remember give her a good time while is your turn , some of them will stick around for a while. Good luck. I no longer want my ex

If the relationship lasted a short while, yes, it's very easy to say "It was fun while it lasted." and then happily move on to the next, but some relationships are worth saving. Not all of them are worth it but there are some worth the salvage and it's best to use discernment. There's a reason for the breakup though, and sometimes the reason is you're both too lazy to work on it and just expect things to miraculously fix things for you. It's that or one or both people don't take accountability for their actions. There will always be issues in a relationship as there is never a perfect relationship, but there is a healthy one! But like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you since you know your relationship and your ex better than anyone else on here. And alas, not every ex is worth all the trouble. It's up to you to decide who is worth fighting for at one of the toughest of battles you face in your relationship. Best of luck!

Have used system to disconnect/reconnect with ex. But "getting ex back" system doesn't share enough on building healthy future. Not discussing issues of past relationship has caused same issues to come up. Because system says do not bring up past issues, I didn't but they did and to the point that they think they were right/justified/I'm in denial of the issues we had.

@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning Жыл бұрын
If you two already broke up, it will do you best to not think about it. Trust me, I know how it feels but doing so will only wear you out... and it's something you have zero control over. It's time to take a look at the bigger picture here. It doesn't really matter what your ex is doing. Chances are your ex is rebounding anyway but the point is you shouldn't be focused on that right now. That's all out of your control. Focus on yourself instead and show (NOT tell) your ex you accept her decision to break up. If you do, you'll accept that you're both single and therefore you'd stop overanalyzing every little stuff. All right? Here are the basics to getting an ex back: y2u.be/aeGNPBdpnsI and you can see that the 30-day "no contact" rule is an absolute must. I also suggest that you read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total and the "no contact" rule is only the first), including what to say, do or not do, etc. Good timing is essential! Check it out at www.breakupbrad.com/mbuy

At 1:53 you say "anyone of the opposite sex" perhaps in this day and age you may want to consider revising your terminology. Love doesn't or shouldn't have boundaries. We as individuals should have boundaries who, what, how, where and when but loving the same sex is still love. Thank you ⭐⚡❤⚡⭐

Hey Brad, I really enjoy your videos! What if my ex went back to his ex? Although I’m really sticking to no contact he’s been reaching out a couple times since our breakup (last time was actually a few days ago) and expressed guilt and regret and apologized for being « so f*cked up to me » but two days ago I found out that he and his ex started following each other again on social media recently and I don’t know how to feel about this. It makes me sad and I feel like I’m doing everything right and he also still watches all of my stories and likes my posts but I can’t lie, I’m still very upset with the ex situation…

I really hate to burst your bubble here but let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he’s seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Good luck and I hope you find the right guy for you soon!
