Thank you! I agree that being personable is HUGE. One of the owners at my gym set that bar so high for making everyone feels seen, welcomed, remembered, making progress, and feel good! It makes a huge difference and I think it gets overlooked unfortunately by some coaches.

These were excellent tips that I think a lot of CrossFit coaches could benefit from. My first class I ever went to, the coach sped through the WOD, started the timer and immediately went to loudly talk and laugh with one student for the entire hour. Terrible first impression, lol. Thankfully, I eventually found an amazing gym where it felt like family and the coaches actually cared.

Yea unfortunately there are gyms like that. Hopefully all of the affiliated that are ran like that either wise up, or they'll really suffer in the long run.
