Brain Tracy thank you for your motivation. My fear of failure is giving interview with lack of knowledge which I personally feel. So I wish to prepare I am failing in time management and also grasping power, memorizing that whatever I read for. My feelings or thoughts are not making me to do effective work on preparation due to managing my surroundings (family, office, friends and my passion)

Mine has been a lack of prioritising. I have been spending too much time on unimportant activities. For instance, I am learning a language , but my priority is to finish writing my book. Thanks to your advice though, I am actually writing my book a little every morning and gradually learning the self discipline I need to prioritise more effectively.

All those bad habits are not leaving me be successful, I know that I have to work hard on me :( ... but I have two babies and sometimes it gets so difficult, but I know that it is not impossible. I think the bad habit that keeps me from success is that I have the mindset of 'I can't'. When I see something slightly difficult or complex, I tend to think that I cannot do it or that I'm not good enough at achieving it.

I am addicted to watching self help youtube videos and the fact that they might actually make an impact if I could just implement them. Then once that thought has gone I go back to my old ways. Lol. These videos are my procrastination because I am frightened of finishing my studies. How do I move on from this state to implement these steps. Know isn't that same as doing, and don't tell me self discipline, tell me something else lol.

I still struggle with sleeping in but I've off set it a bit with great planning and having discipline with priorities but I still want to get to the point where my efforts are efficient enough that I don't overwork and use that as an excuse to catch a few more Zs. My big problem is I will not ask for help for anything. I will try to do everything... in a constant work mindset. Not getting done what I want to do. I also have a problem with thinking I am responsible for everyone and everything. I am learning to say no to others; but, it is very hard for me too do this. I don't have a problem with working; I have problems with allowing others to dictate my day completely. I always felt that no matter how well I did anything it wasn't enough, and I could have done better. I believe you should stop... take a moment....and say well done... before continuing to do more. I do have a running list of things I need to do... putting stars beside each item to determine how important it is. I also, only put three things on my to do list each day; when they are accomplished, I add to the list. Most of my to do list takes hours to do one thing and that is why only three. I also write down at the end of the day what I did do, how much time it took me... and how I could have done it faster and better. Next, I thank God for the energy and all my blessings. I start my day with God and end my Day with God. I talk to him and ask God to guide my steps. Life is so hard and without God,no one can do anything. God Bless and have a wonderful Holiday Season everyone.

Yes on all accounts. Unfortunately, I become depressed because I start off well but then I go back to my old ways. I’ve lived my life with lack of focus and procrastination. I held myself back from nursing school for that reason and just having the fear of failure since I was at most a “C” student. I finally gave nursing school a try and graduated with honors. I passed even with major procrastination. Had I not been afraid of failure I would have gone to nursing while I was younger to become a nurse practitioner. I was not diagnosed with ADD but I believe I have every single symptom. It is not easy when someone says “Just do it” because I wish I can but sadly I’m off and on when it comes to focus and self-discipline. Negative thoughts are real always telling myself you can start but I know you will not complete it. Anyway, just had to get his off of my chest.

Wow!! Please don't stop!! When I was your age, none of my friends thought like me. I was like you. I gave in and lost a lot of time being unproductive. You can be a millionaire before 30 if you follow this form of teaching and learn from it!! Most people your age DON'T THINK LIKE YOU!! Don't give up!!
