1. Split squat, switch leg 2. Snow angle on a sock 3. Lift knee, then both stretch lying down 4. One arm stretch from top of door frame 5. Arm stretch leaning into top of broom handle while sitting 6. Hands up, dont shoot, up against the wall, stretch arms up and down 7. Three step to the left, three step to the right. Great for line dancing 8. On all fours, heel up doggy kicks.

With spring coming, we are planning lots of backpacking trips, and this often comes with neck, shoulder, and knee pain (plus I have a degenerative disc disease, sheesh!). Your videos help!

I love this video & your humor. Thank you for the variations too, btw I'm only 5' 0" short. The last one I do with our dogs when llsying, & they do that stretch all the time. The three of you are in sync thanks to your true friendship, respect, cooperation with each other. You make me happy, I try to be helpful, & healthy is a problem but God runs the show. After my mastectomy I developed pain in the lower scapula. I finally received therapy & did a couple of these exercises plus others but it didn't, t help still hurts. Wish it would go away. Suggestions are welcome sirs. 🙂

Thank you for providing alternate versions of exercises that are done on the knees. I've had knee surgery and can no longer kneel, so I appreciate being able to do exercises for the same areas when either standing or sitting.

These are some great exercises. I've been driving all day, 7 days a week, for the past decade and have been developing some problems with my left gluteus, left abdominals and some intermittent numbness in the left foot and hand. I can't stop working but have been trying to mix in appropriate exercises to counteract some of the muscle weakness and nerve issues. Just tried some of these and they really seemed to activate some of my dead spots. I'll keep experimenting with them to see if I can add them to my regular routines.

Thank you guys for all your work. I learned from one of your videos that the sensation of phantom water running down my leg was from a nerve thing in my back. My doctor had looked at me like I was crazy when I asked her about it before I consulted Dr. Google. Also you helped me strengthen my back enough that I could sleep in a bed again instead of on the floor. You guys are great. Best wishes to you all and especially Bob.

Hi! I am working on these and some of your other exercises to get my posture back & recover from "Tech or Dowager's hump" that I seem to be developing. Can you do a video sharing tips on proper seating and support when watching TV, a video on a notebook, and doing these things while reclining? Is reclining even an option? I think that's where I went wrong :-) THANKS!!!

I think these are great stop and reset exercises for people on the phone or computer for long periods of time.. should be done in schools to teach good habits every two hours or so.. but can you guys do an episode on the best furniture for computer work ect… I see some commercial for x chair or something.. it would be helpful to know what is good and what is just good marketing taking advantage of people.. and perhaps cheaper alternatives

I can’t do split squats every day. I had open heart surgery to replace an Aortic valve. I do them every 4th day.

Hello, just wondering if you’ve heard of knees over toes guy. My knee is killing me and he’s shown that walking backwards, calf raises, and a couple other exercises can strengthen that tendon in the shin and your quad. Just wondering if you have any stretches or exercises like that! Thanks for everything.

Wow hey TO EVERYONE dealing with shoulder dislocations (I had repettative subluxations) these glute pumps do A LOT for the shoulder! I have a tough time doing push ups, don't have any problem with wall push ups, and this isolation is very productive because the other isolation exercises for the shoulder aren't giving me a workout like this. FYI I can't 'do' the push-ups because it pops... feels like it isn't very productive and then it's just impossible. Wall push-ups NO problem. But this is totally working out my shoulder when I have to apply pressure downwards and lift my leg. Please look into this and publicize this with shoulder stuff if it really does make sense. It sure makes sense to me. *I'm not a crazy person, I just don't completely understand anatomy and it feels like it's really giving me a total shoulder workout. Thanks again. I understand that subluxations are only 10% of the dislocations so maybe it's not really very useful information.

Isn't exercise 3 (the stretch for the Iliopsoas muscle group) the same as going down in exercise 1 that also stretches the same muscle group - with exercise 1 being even more beneficial since it's a dynamic stretch?

Question on the shoulder stretch leaning into door frame. Should body by 90 degrees to top frame or should I be leaning so that my shoulder pushes backward more? I don’t want to do it wrong.

We would have to recommend you consult your doctor before using - usually they will be good for it, but there may be certain situations and circumstances where it is not recommended so since your doctor should know your specific situation in detail, we would feel better consulting him/her first.

I have one and wouldn't push doing that at my advanced 66 years of age. I would 'modify' how low I deemed OK, but not doing harm... or just omitting.
