Great video. Just a quick warning note for exercising and "mimicking a fever" - if you have any viral symptoms at all it is important NOT to exercise, or you can really run the risk of triggering chronic fatigue. I learnt this the hard way (long distance runner who continued to exercise through glandular fever, thinking that sweating would help me - now chronic fatigue sufferer). If you have any viral or virus-like symptoms, SKIP the exercise and just stretch and rest. Return to exercise once any viral symptoms have passed X

I agree… Our GUT health is very important...There are foods that actually work as probiotics… And also a lot of people have fatty liver… You can also Google which foods will help detoxify your liver… Our diets are so important to our overall health… Thank you guys for this motivation and information!

I get stressed very easily too! I’ve been wanting to check my cortisol as well, I’m storing belly fat and not sleeping. But even if our cortisol is high what can we do about it? How can we lower it? I love your channel, not only do you both inspire me but I feel that you both are “no judgement”. We are all just people and we are in this together.

Very good ideas. You all seem to be doing great! For vitamin D one thing I do is buy mushrooms and put them on a baking sheet out in the sun for a day under a window screen to keep bugs away. I learned that mushrooms at the grocery store are normally grown in the dark but if you take them home and leave them in the sun they will produce vitamin D just like our skin can. Gill sides up makes the most Vitamin D. I always cook them afterwards in stews or on the stove just in case but I like it as a way to boost vitamin D in a natural way.

It's really interesting to get a blood glucose meter and test regularly (daily). Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo has free information about blood sugar and cortisol that is so interesting. I was surprised at what causes fluctuations in both including stress, exercise, sleep etc! I think you'd find the meter results daily and after certain meals, etc. fascinating if you love blood test results!

To avoid caffeine, what's the best tea that can still give you that boost in the morning, but doesn't have caffeine? I was a big coffee drinker and keep trying to switch to tea but like you said stress puts me back on coffee, right now I'm drinking jasmine pearls tea which still has some caffeine since it is green tea. Do you do the apple cider vinegar at night or before meals?

Yes to the apple cider! As far as energizing tea, you could try something with cacao! Or try juicing, I get a zing from ginger turmeric shots!

Great 👍. Please note that zinc supplements even taken at a low dose but taken for too long is toxic. You can research this. Taken short term (e.g. only a few weeks) is great though 👍 . Whoke Food is much, much better.

I lost my thyroid due to thyroid cancer at age 24..I always worry if I can't get my medication levothyroxine is there something else that could supply what I need in case of a natural disaster? Now I asked my doctor and they laughed..but it's a real concern of mine. I know Jesus has my best interest in his hands..I couldnt find the magnesium in your store maybe I missed it

I hope you can help me, I have been vegan for over a year, I soak all beans and grains with ACV and cook and ferment after. I eat almost 3,000 calories a day. I steam greens that are high in oxalates. And eat other greens raw. I take all necessary supplements. I take Udo's DHA for omega 3,6 and 9. Eat no processed foods. Shop mostly at farmers markets. My hair started falling out within a few months (still occurring), started to have tooth sensitivity, rashes on my arms and I now have irregular periods. My husband does not have any of these symptoms and we eat the same thing for breakfast lunch and dinner. Can you, or anyone else out there help? Thank you

Hmmm are you supplementing or taking anything for iodine? Maybe get your blood work done, could be thyroid related!

@@EatMoveRest thanks for the response! I've gotten my blood work done but everything is always normal. I take mary Ruth's nacent iodine along with many other supplements...b12, vegan d3, zinc, selenium etc. I know ive heard about some people on the vegan diet losing their periods. I have increased my fat intake but it hasn't helped. I was just wondering if you have ever heard of this happening to anyone else.Thanks! !
