Yoongi mentioned Epik High's song, which got him into hip hop. And now he is friends with them and even worked as producer with them (he produced their song Eternal Sunshine)

If you want to know Yoongi better, the best way is to listen to ALL the songs (preferably in order) from both his mixtapes. It expresses his thoughts and feelings and everything he's been through from trainee till present.

He's somebody who is much more mature than his age (some people would call it "old soul"). we can see how aware he is about himself, the situation he's in, the battles he fights, the things he has to let go, and the people he cares about, all of these can even be seen from his early music creation/production displayed in his first Mix Tapes when he was just about 17-18 years old. In my book, TOMORROW deserves a deep dive. One of Suga’s best rhythms and melodies, be it for the rap or vocal parts! Many good LIVE videos out there... it has beautiful choreo. Also, SO FAR AWAY, whether the Suran version, or the FESTA one with Jin & JK. Gorgeous melody, great lyrics!

There are tons of videos made about BTS daily. Only 1 in thousands of videos is accurate & spot on without misleading the audience, without pushing weird narrative, that is far from the truth. This series is one of them. I didn't know the value of this series when it was first released. But after seeing bunch of inaccurate videos, I got to see what kind of amazing thing that channel(the team behind it) made. Anyone can tell "oh, okay this is what they said in the past". Just accepting one side of them as it is. No boxing BTS into 1 character. Maybe this is the only good introduction video made by the fans. On the Korean side, there are many fun videos, that share same value. Just showing things as it is without pushing any narrative nor narrowing BTS into shallow character.

I'm so glad this into video showed a bit more about Yoongi's side as a valuable member of BTSs music team but also about him as a person. Orders videos tend to have certain biases and views colored by what was known of the boys a few years back so sometimes people barely getting to know BTS can get a few wrong ideas/perceptions about the boys. Yoongi has by far been the member most affected by this as many new fans regard him as the cold/savage member everyone is scared of when the truth and depth of his character goes well beyond that as you've seen. Yoongi is one of the most hardworking but also calmest people ever, and I think he is wise beyond his years, and such a comforting presence. I'm not lying when I say that his message that it's ok to not have a dream and that just living and being happy is enough saved my life. He is a constant source of inspiration and motivation for myself and many many others, and him and BTS will most likely go down in history as one of the most influential people of this generation. I really hope so because they have inspired and changed so many of us for the better.

Both Yoongi & Namjoon was introduced to hip hop through Epik High’s song called Fly. And years later Yoongi worked together on their song called Eternal Sunshine. He also featured in Lee Sora’s song called Song Request which was produced by Epik High’s member Tablo. Talk about a successful fan!

I am so excited for you to learn more about Yoongi too. So many newer ARMY don't take the time to really get to know the members well because they mostly just listen to the songs and watch funny compilations and while these are great and if they look at the lyrics of the songs they will learn a lot many of them do not look even that far or any further and miss a lot of what the members bring to the team and who they are as individuals.

SUGA is awesome!!! I've notice that one of his weaknesses is get along with V, cause ARMY said: " Yoongi can't Say no to Tae " and many times can't Say no to the others members. Tae has always made it a point to be close to Yoongi, and he could enter his Shell. Lately Suga an Jin are closer, SUGA said " like brothers" they can talking by hours in deep conversatios . While Suga recovered V in the ceremony awards always mentioned Suga. So Lovely. 💜💜💜💜

After Dynamite was on the 1st billboard during 2 weeks, the most important radio in Korea, invited them to do an interview, and Suga mentioned to Epik High´s as the best artist that influenced to be a rapper again. and RM mentioned to Nas again, too.
