It is Sooo Good! to get a break from the city, I'm very fortunate to have family who live near by in rural areas, in the goldilocks zone, so to spk. Perfect distance and a retreat from where i live now. i just got back from my brother's about half hour ago and the best part is, other than the calm silence fresh water and air is 100% 😂looking after my two nephews, life is good! 5 and 1 years old even if its sometimes a little bit of a brutal combination of ages lol l, its definitely seeing their faces light up when i arrive! ... this is priceless. I took my guitar with me once, they nearly tore the strings off the thing! lol 😮😅 but they smiled and had fun and thats all that matters to me. Thanks for sharing a day in the life of mimisounds and family, it is a great way to identify with others especially your followers, for myself i know i can say this.

Love Lincoln, my uncle moved there for his retirement in 2003, at a place called Torksey by the canal lock there. Sadly he died last year but I might move to Lincoln myself in the future.

The British Isles are mythical to me, all my life was filled with stories of King Arthur, Robin Hood, the Beatles and such to the point it carries mythical proportions. I'm an American and when I was in the Marines we had a layover in Heathrow and I made a point to go to the window so I can finally actually see England...and it was just fog 😂 maybe one day

Look into getting your nephew one of those new Fender-Loog 3-string guitars. I don't know what strings come with it but since he's four I'd throw on some Ernie Ball Paradigms in whatever gauge it came with and not worry so much about breaking when a 4yo starts reefing in the strings or playing with the tuning pegs.
