Welcome to another day in my life out here in rural Japan. Today was a pretty laid-back day, with lots of writing and drawing.
This is the season I like the most - when it's warm and relaxing (but not TOO hot).
As always, thanks for watching~!

I CANNOT believe that people have the nerve to tell you that you neglect your blog!! You've been working so hard, posting videos, publishing your book etc, it's so rude of them to police you... Thank you for your hard work, I love your blog posts, your videos & of course your comics. Also, when Ryosuke called you "peach lady" I couldn't help but think of Prince's track "Peach" haha

Thank you for your videos, especially these day-in-a-lifes. I know you think they're boring, but they're so calming for me. This may sound weird, but I have chronic pain issues and watching you and Ryosuke be cute and dorky together always makes me feel better. So thanks and keep 'em coming! :)

I'd just like to thank you guys for renting movies instead of stealing them. I've worked in the film industry for 30 years, and each year it gets harder to find work and the pay is lower when you do find it because investors have stopped investing in films (they don't make any money when the films end up on pirate sites). When people download stuff for free, they just don't realize how it affects the lives of people. Really, thank you so so much!

Your issues aren't investors, Hollywood is making more money than ever, even though piracy is near all time high, your issue is rich people thinking they can get away with paying poor people less to make themselves richer. Don't take it out on the people who can't afford to lease a movie for $40, take it out on the people who can afford to pay you and your family a decent wage for your work but choose to pad their own bank accounts with more zeros instead.

I like these Day in My Life videos, they're calming and really fun. That park looks so nice! It's amazing that you can work there. It's really fun to see some of the nature/neighbourhood. And how can you draw such straight lines! I'm terrible at those.

I love these "A Day in My Life" videos! I have only been subscribed for a very short time - (found your videos after binge watching far too many Japan apartment tours!), and I got hooked right away! What I like about these day in the life videos is that they are simple, relaxing, and just, nice. It's hard to explain but watching these videos is just very therapeutic. Can't wait to see more (and of course your other videos :P)

Here in Oregon, there is "Redbox". Basically a vending machine business for movies and some video games. It's doing crazy well. Infact, they pretty much shut down to major video business here: Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Both were "brick and mortar" business and didn't make the transition well and folded.

Hugh eats EVERYTHING. So I'm lucky in that sense. Some of our other friends who are similar couples (Korean guy/Aussie girl), the husband still only wants Korean food and don't appreciate when they make good western food. I'm glad Hugh likes everything haha. I like your little outside area, it's cute. I wish we had something like that... but it's like all space is for farming here.. and the seat platform things out near the road are for older people, I'm not comfortable sitting out there... being one of the youngest people in our village haha..

I love watching these "Day in my life" videos sooo much. I don't always comment, because I know how many comments you receive, but it just seemed like a perfect day there, so I wanted to share my appreciation for you sharing it. I love watching the two of you interact, just too cute. I love watching you prepare food, go to the park and work and it was awesome to see the comic sketching. Really can not express how much joy these videos bring to my day. Not to mention giving me a glimpse into life in Japan, daily life that is. Have to ask though, what was Ryosuke wearing around his head at the start of the video, the dangling thing??? You are both great!

I think you are a great artist and it would be interesting to even see more comic from your life before Tokyo or your husband's life before you. Please let your husband know I read the forwards and mean people suck but even if no one enjoyed what you do never stop if it makes you happy, because in the end that's all that really matters. He is crazy in a good way and it looks like you balance each other out, it's perfect.
