For years I've argued that there is a big difference between gym fitness and the physical labor of a welder, oil worker or other jobs. I'm finding the kettlebell is as close to the hard labor type fitness as I can get.
@TexasBrown7132 ай бұрын
I've done concrete building construction all my life and I feel the same. I've used traditional curl bar/dumbbells before and it doesn't compare to the range of motion you get with kettlebells. I tell any labor intense worker that a kettlebell routine at home will do you wonders

It's also therapeutic excercise, it's work that rejuvenates your body. gives instead of takes kind of feeling. and helps you escape the pain that those repetitive hard jobs put you in.

I'm 70, loving this channel. My gym has bells, I bought a couple of clubs. Adjusted my goals from his suggested just based on my age.

I like this methodical approach so much. I have been following your advice for a little longer than a year and I have made so much progress. It is motivating to know how much more progress I have yet to make. Regards from France

Last spring I added a couple of Club exercises to my Kettlebell routines. Low to High Side Swings are very similar in both implements. Kettlebell Halos are like Shield Casts. I've also done Around The World with Club and Mace after learning it with Kettlebell. It will be interesting to adapt the Outside Circle ⭕️ to the Kettlebell.

I have a decent home gym. Been adding kettle bells for almost a year. Wanted to add clubs.. more than my budget allows, so I dug into my tool box and started with a 24" pipe wrench. About ready to dig out the 36" one. lol

I’ve got a few pipe wrenches I’ve used for years. They’re pretty heavy.

You mention non stop cleans and clean and press. Is that one side each for a 10min EMOM?
@RMT_Artuso2 ай бұрын
Instead of returning to center before the press, could you press directly from the catch position as you return to center?
@cioran17542 ай бұрын
That's how I did them, and it feels rad, reckon here it's just a technical 'return to order' instruction, for reference and safety, then add the rotational stuff after getting comfortable with movement and weight.

If you combine it with a squat and a press.. It is really a complete complex
@BluegillGregАй бұрын
Dan John developed what he calls the "Armor Building Complex" (ABC). It's a clean and press, a second clean and 3 squats. It works well.

When the kettlebell hits the forearm,how hard it should feel?cause when i do this everytime it goes to my forearm it kinda land hard 😂 that it hurts
@Reece-nh2vyАй бұрын
Possibility you’re not properly handling the kettlebell correctly. Watch Mark’s many videos to get correct positioning of kettlebells from beginning to completion. Look up the specific exercise that it happens to you under title of video. His explanations are very thorough!!! Could also be the type of kettlebell you own. Do check his videos. Injuries are no fun, only consumer of time, not progress.

@@Reece-nh2vy hey thanks,it just happens when i started lifting heavier KB,but the lighter ones i can do it without slamming it in my forearm,must be technique issue 😂
