most people do not understand it is difficult to get Veterinary care for reptiles . i have a degree in animal Bio , see first hand that a lot of keepers are better at treating reptiles because they work so closely with them . those who send hate for treating reptiles are clueless as to what goes on . love you guys and keep up all your good work .

Sylvester already looks so much better after just this little propper care you gave him, hydrating him, getting rid of the shed and cleaning his mouth. He already seems more agile and not apathetic anymore, even his tounge is flicking again. Thank you for being there for the deemed "hopeless" animals. Even a vet that isn't specialised in reptile care should've been able to do that.❤

If this animal had care from not only a rescuer, but also a vet why was it dehydrated and covered in stuck shed? That should have been the absolute first thing either of them did

Poor Sylvester. I’m so glad he’s in Kevin’s hands now. He still has a long way to go but he definitely looked a lot better and I saw a couple tongue flicks! I hope he’s in a lot less pain now. Thanks Kevin and Donny 💜☮️

Those first shots are so heartbreaking, you can see the life draining out of it. It’s pretty amazing how much it perked up in just those first 24 hours. Still had a long road ahead but I hope the little guy starts feeling better soon

You can tell he immediately felt relief after that shed came off. Such a beautiful boa, so happy that he finally got the care he needed. Snakes are such hardy and resilient creatures so I’m hopeful that he’ll make it.

These videos make me almost want to go back to school for veterinary care, specifically for reptiles. A very good reptile vet that knows their stuff is worth their weight in gold, as most vets typically care for mammalian pets.

I love how even in that short time he looked way better, way more active and the little tongue flicks :) even if he doesnt pull through, Kevin has set him up with the best possible chance. I like these "medical" videos that show how just really good (if somewhat intensive) husbandry practices can still make a huge difference 😊
