If the knee is between the shoulders the person get up but they can still breath comfortably. Now how is it that I was taught this during SECURITY training over 10yrs ago but a fucking POLICE OFFICER with OVER 10yrs on the job doesn't know this is the wrong thing to do. You forgot to mention the part in the trial yesterday where Floyd's drug addict girlfriend said he overdosed in March, was abusing opioids all through May, was with his drug dealers moments before his death that sold him the drugs from his previous overdose, how they sold him a mixture of meth and Fentanyl as "Percocet," and how his pet name for her was "momma," which is who he was ACTUALLY crying out for. Yep. Chauvin better pack his bags for jail. Ironic that he killed a man before that man could be taken to jail, and now he's going to jail. Karma is a b*tch. Hopefully someone doesn't accidentally kill him by placing their knee on his neck..but jail is kind of mysterious. It's not like there are convicted murderers, and people who have been oppressed by white folks who hate them. Chauvin literally is a dead man walking..I mean sitting.

I can't believe no one (that I've seen) has taken into account the fact that once George realized the officer wasn't budging & wasn't going to let up, he must've started to panic. this would cause his heart rate to increase & ultimately require more oxygen making it even more difficult to breath. So now not only are you laying on your chest but you also have your arms behind your back as well as this heavy coward on your neck as well as your heart rate increasing. Try breathing through a coffee straw (the tiny little red ones), now sprint down the block & back then try breathing through it. That's enough to panic in and of itself. Yeah through the book at him! @1Proud American2021 Chauvin had 18 complaints on his official record, two of which ended in discipline, including official letters of reprimand.[20] He had been involved in three police shootings, one of which was fatal.[17][21][22][23] According to the former owner of El Nuevo Rodeo, a Latin nightclub, Chauvin had worked there off duty as security while George Floyd was also working as security, but was not certain whether they knew each other.[24][25] The owner has been critical of Chauvin since his arrest, describing Chauvin's tactics as "overkill" and saying "Chauvin was unnecessarily aggressive on nights when the club had a black clientele, quelling fights by dousing the crowd with pepper spray and calling in several police squad cars as backup".[16] The owner also said Chauvin responded to fights by spraying the crowd with mace instead of dealing with those who were fighting.[26]
