I'd go for Self Propelled Artilery (artillery tanks) in Single player and Tank Destroyers in Multiplayer, mainly with 1938 medium chassis. This is because in SP, light attack is what matters and in MP hard attack is what gives you the win. If you can afford heavy TD definitely go for them as they are fckng undestructible XD

ILY PYDGIN. ty for the short and concise vids.

I've been using 30W inf only or 30W inf with 2 arty. Both have been insanely good. I also add field hospitals and suffer insanely low losses.

I found this video far more helpful than your shorter video. Great that you realized we were interested in hearing your thoughts and "Why?"

Even tho this is a video about division template, you should have specified that air is REALLY important, even the best infantry division might not breakthrough if you don't have the right amount of air.

"Mid/Late game tank" Cons: No Hardness (it's more than 75%), Low Breakthrough (672.6) 💀💀 Jokes aside this video is very helpful, thank you.

Thanks alot - great. I would be interested in your thoughts on the new support companies - heavy artillery, medevac, assault engineers etc etc. MMM

Heli battalion and assault engineers are great, the extra micro and resources are rough though. I probably should do some tier list videos.

When the image in your video says "expect high casualties when pushing" is this casualties for your opponent, not your battalion casualties? What's the best way to reduce your manpower casualties? Have HP of a division above 200? 250? with 200ish or more breakthrough/defence values and hardness? I'm trying to minimise casualties. Many thanks!
@Abstr_seАй бұрын
It's for you
@PydginАй бұрын
Yea for you. A lower HP is a trade off, you may get some other stats better but when you do take damage it'll be a higher percentage. Best way to reduce your manpower casualties is to attack in favourable conditions like good weather, avoid mountains, marshes, and desert when possible, use field hospitals, high hardness units. Higher breakthrough units for attacking.

I'm a little more confused with this video, as the combat widths don't match up with your most recent division video "10/15/35" Are the best combat widths changed?
@PydginАй бұрын
Yea, I should change that thumbnail. 30 is often better in practice, not on paper.
@ShinySalamence1Ай бұрын
Why not just have everyone go 16W inf? Why 20 width for defensive?
@PydginАй бұрын
You know that "exceeding combat width" negative modifier in battles? 20w will have fewer and lower penalties then 16w.

A little advice here: In europe there are a lot of forest, so that means, a lot of penaltys for tanks, motorized and mechanized divisions. I highly recommend use cavalry instead of motorized or mechanized divisions to have great buffs in forest. They move slower, but still faster than infantry.
@bruetel436Ай бұрын
Cmon, the meta for (defenisve) inf is 16 width. Everyone in MP knows this. Also shovels are generally considered too expensive on defense for the most part.
@jonahhughes8197Ай бұрын
bro thinks he knows more than pydgin
@PydginАй бұрын
With vanilla combat width I don't think 16 is all that great. Maybe people are trying to get to 15 and thinking 16 is close enough, but that's not really how combat width works. Shovels provide amazing modifiers in vanilla, they are expensive but definitely can be worth it.

I like to hear people out, this is how we all learn. Maybe there is something to 16w
