I am a dog owner and obsessed with my dog but in the uk if you hit a dog that runs into the road unleashed the dog owner is liable and would legally have to pay repairs

the speed limit could be anywhere from 25-45mph. so it’s definitely possible to accidentally hit a pet that is where its not supposed to be

Could you maybe do a testing different reusable period products video? I am trying period underwear for the first time, have tried cups, but there are so many different types of such and also like sponge, disks, reusable pads, etc. Etc.

The first story is definitely not the a** hole. If he's choosing not to be a part of their lives, why does he feel entitled to an inheritance with someone they want nothing to do with anymore?

For the inheritance thing. First…I don’t really know that I think it’s ok the wine was tossed out. I mean that wasn’t their property. Call out the people for not following their rules and discussing it from there…sure. But since when is it ok to destroy someone else’s property? I’m sure there is more to the story. And I agree with you that holding inheritance over their heads is shitty. Maybe I missed it but I don’t think we know if they are upset over the inheritance. I mean I would expect to have zero contact including being involved when they died if I cut someone off.

Hi! Just a thought/constructive critique! I may be alone in this so definitely take this with a grain of salt because I absolutely love you and your content and just want more variety! I’d love to see your podcast do more that AITA. I think it’s great to do, but not as often as you do them. I think if you’d like to do them, it’d be cool to have listeners write in their own so that it’s a bit more connected to the audience. Maybe more Q&As or choosing up to 3 questions to answer in depth. The Uncensored part of your podcast is something I really appreciate and would love to see more of YOU uncensored with some more of you in it. We get who you are through these Reddit AITA but I personally feel a lack of connection to these episodes for whatever reason. Again, could just be me and I may be explaining this poorly but I hope the gist is there insofar as having more variety in these episodes in the new year :) thank you for giving me something to listen to on my commutes and looking forward to continue listening to you weekly! ❤

Wedding dress story opinion: she’s one of those people that exaggerates situations. She felt the person saying no its for my daughter meant she didn’t consider her family. She would have then said. She said it was for “HER DAUGHTER” she doesn’t even consider me family. Can you believe that. A dramatic story teller. I have friends that do this all the time. I learnt to read their tones and figure out what people really meant 😂

First story. The son and DIL were extremely disrespectful of a clear boundary. Creating that level of drama is disgusting behavior. Then, to throw the grandchild in the mix puts the son all the way into asshole territory. I do agree with your comment, the father should not have responded by weaponizing the inheritance.

I don't think anyone is an asshole for hitting a dog or cat. Especially if you are going the speed limit. Most neighborhoods are 25mph. But he was definitely a dick for asking for reimbursement. The gf who goes out all the time is an asshole if she expects her boyfriend to not get upset. If you don't want to spend time with him then leave

wedding dress comment so the thing is as long as shes not letting her wear it to their wedding and just her own but the thing is alltercations can be undone and they both could wear the dress like I don't understand because in my opinion If my daughter asked to use my wedding dress and i said yes and my future daughter in law wanted to i would talk to my daughter and make sure she was okay with someone else using the dress and if it was okay then i would ask her if she can pay to have alltercations undone that she makes

With the last one I think it depends. Is that neighbour known for having their dog unleashed when they know the rules and just don't follow them? If so, then not the asshole. If it is a one off, then yes, the asshole. Absolutely the dog should be leashed and their are far too many shitty dog owners that don't follow that rule. But if this neighbour isn't one of them and it was just an accident as you claim, then don't make an already horrible situation worse by asking for money to fix your car. If you don't have the money for the deductible then maybe ask for donations from friends or other neighbours. But do not go after the person destraught over their injured pet.
