I haven't raced R/C in several years, literally watched this entire video. This is gold for any Mugen owner. Even those that don't own Mugen cars should watch how methodically you build cars. Attention to detail is key and it's no wonder you have been so successful. Keep up the great work Adam, you're an asset to the community and an excellent brand ambassador.

I do run x-ray graphite uprights and I use graphite dry lube and it helps but constantly maintaining up rights and pillow balls to keep it smooth. Why not just put the roll bars on bearings so they're locked in and free-spinning always?
@FattydonTube2 жыл бұрын
Because there are different size of roll bars.
@malATX2 жыл бұрын
@@FattydonTube not an issue, the same exact collar style with grub screw will hold the variable size roll bar and also adapt the diameter to the bearing. Several other brands do this successfully already.

That is one way to do it, but not the way we decided to do it for the MBX8R.

Look up section modulus, you can get the stiffness you want at a much lower weight. You can also tune the arm stiffness with optional stiffener plates.
