Hi Mike, thanks for your amazing review for E-53 city commute ebike, hope you have a good time with it😘

I have the E53 and my wife has the E43. Mechanically identical just a lower step over for her. This bike does everything I want to do with it. A decommissioned railway was turned into a rail trail with packed gravel and this bike handles it with no issues. We enjoy the scenery, I have rack so I can hang my laptop bag and lunch off the rack and ride to work, pick up small items from the store etc. It's just a nice bike that does everything we want to do.

Nice review! This bike looks like a steal with the current discount. Crazy just how close this video was shot to where I stay, I recognize the roads and the neighborhood kinda freaky seeing it on yt

hows the sizing? it seems pretty small for someone who's 5'11+

I'd be curious to know if this battery would fit in a radcity4, as everything else about it looks borrowed from Rad/every other bike's part's bin.

I'd say this is a bike trail ebike. Micah's a professional, so a little jaded. 20mph is fast on a bicycle, for the average person. On bike trails, where you're sharing with slow-moving users on narrow lanes, 16 mph is more likely. This is pretty well-designed. I don't care for aluminum frames, but the suspension should help with the durability.

I get 60 miles on a bike with 750 watt motor with 14ah battery on lowest pedal assist (10mph) so I’ll bet this gets close to 100 miles on lowest pedal assist. I would consider this bike since range, rather than speed, is what is important to me.

This bike is wildly underrated…48v 20ah is unheard of at this price range, most other eBikes are at 14ah. but people on Reddit say the company seems to have some quality issues….

I get a little skeptical of the AH claims, too.
@theendurance2 жыл бұрын
@@MP-zf7kg I’m not skeptical oh AH claims. I’m just worried about build quality. A lot of Addmotor owners on Reddit have posted their frame snapping in half or cracking

This bike would be just good enough for the Iowa RAGBRAI bike tour.

If I get a bunch of DWIs and I lose my driver's license, can I use this bike without going to prison?

I think a commuters ebike should have more performance especially in the city with no bike infrastructure. I find it much safer if you can travel at the speed of the traffic instead of having one car after another passing by on narrow roads with parked cars on both sides. Of course there's always the idiot that thinks he need to pass you even when you traveling at the same speed as the car right in front of you. I always let them pass and with stoplights at almost every block intersection. I just give them a wave by as I pedal through the intersection 😅

I hate when they claim ridiculous ranges. 48V/20Ah is large, but only about 1/2 what would be required for 120 mile range, even in the lowest setting. As he said, maybe at 6 mph...

No doubt it’s a bloated number. Just like MPG with cars

" 72 lbs?" Can anyone confirm this is correct? The ADDMOTOR website doesnt even give the weight of the bike.

I have confirmed that it is 64lbs with battery and 54lbs without battery.

@@theendurance Thanks for the reply. When he said "72" i thought that was kinda high. Good day.

This e-bike would be good if it has belt drive with Enviolo internal gear hub. And a way to add a second battery and a 750 watts continuous motor would be super good.
