From the scale of 1 (piece of cake) - 10 (barely finished), how difficult was this for you? Leave me a comment and let me know if these fitness routines should be more or less challenging =)!

You should try to make a less challenging one for people first starting/weight loss

Hi, for me this was between an 8 and a 10. I can’t do single leg bridge yet but adapted by doing a double leg bridge and will keep working on it. I got my first aerial hammock in March 2020. I have been doing and teaching yoga for about 3 years, a couple of hours per week. I once saw an aerial yoga video on KZbin and thought it looked like amazing fun! I didn’t realise how much more strength I would need to be able to use my hammock! I really love it and love your short conditioning videos.

@@nighteyesfool I WAS TOO! I didnt realized how much strength i did not have until I started doing aerial ! So I am trying to focus only on beginners to help people to find the same fitness goals and motivations I discovered! Really glad to find you =)!

Scale of 1-10 it was a perfect 8 ! Hard enough to be challenging and easy enough that I didn’t want to completely give up. I just got my first hammock gifted to me and your channel has been my friend the past week. Thank you so much ! ❤

So glad to hear! Are you dancing with your hammock or do you use it more for workout/yoga?

I really like how aerial hammock workouts alleviate some, if not all, of my knee pain while doing lunges and squats. I would say this workout was a 6-7 difficulty. I definitely sweat and felt a burn with this one but there wasn't anything that I thought 'No way can I do that!' I really enjoyed the inversion leg cross at the end. Thanks for the video!

Hii I’m just wondering how long you have been doing silks for and what one is safer aerial hoop or aerial silk 🦄🦄🦄
@aerialpractice4 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark! Good to hear from you again. I started aerial hammock about 1.5 years ago. you can see my progress from the very (crappy) beginning (kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5yTnniZpdZ2iJY) up until last year.... I found hammock the safest and the easiest to begin with, since both silks and hoop demand more strength. Thought similar, the learning curves seem a bit different. If you are already relatively strong, then it shouldnt be all the challenging for you to begin. Regarding safety, it depends on what you do and how you do on the apparatus i would say. I hardly do any new tricks without an instructor, focus more on beginner practice. When I am with an instructor, then i usually feel comfortable and safe. hope this helps!

Doing the ✂️ kick hurt my inner thighs because of swing placement, the swing was digging in HARD when I would close together. What am I doing wrong? Or is it just a matter of pain tolerance there?
@aerialpractice4 жыл бұрын
it might be a sign that your inner thigh needs conditioning first. the leg exercises that we are doing in the 10 days workout challenge now is a lot of ground conditioning. You will feel your body getting stronger when you return to the air!
@MISSINGMICHAEL14 жыл бұрын
Ok, thanks. I'll try more strengthening.

Does this make your legs bulk??because I want to get long and lean legs.
@aerialpractice4 жыл бұрын
I dont think I do? I have been practicing aerial for 2 years now. At the beginning I was worried I would look too bulky and did a lot of research on it. Now I know it's not that easy to have big muscles, especially legs are not the stronger for aerialists. We do much more with the upper body and the core. Thank you for giving me a great idea. I can share more in detail how does practicing aerial change my body =D
