..f5 17.Nc3 Disgusting retreating the knight, especially when thinking it halt the pawn advance. Disappointed I am, but continue watching and learning, I shall. yeah i should have gotten the pause the video moment but i can barely keep my eyes open. I picked c6, mostly to constrict the white knight.

@harshrajbasantАй бұрын
Could be played. But then you have a past pawn, a square away from queening and numerous tactics lie to deflect the defender of queening square(not to mention, black will have 2 well coordinated rooks as well,enough compensation for the one less knight).It will be similar to what happened in the actual game.

Agadmator, your English is outstanding, but one small correction: you sometimes say “trick,” which implies an intention to deceive, when you are talking about simple error. “Mislead” would work. [Edit: I am talking about 0:35, “I don’t want to trick you guys”]
@arthurmedeiros5594Ай бұрын
Really? Always thought "trick your opponent with this" meant the same as if mislead.
@q-tuber7034Ай бұрын
I’m talking specifically about Agad “tricking” his viewers. See clarifying edit
@pac1261Ай бұрын
Merriam-Webster online: mislead - to lead in a wrong direction or into a mistaken action or belief often by deliberate deceit. In the matter of improving Agadmator's English, there is nothing more to be done.
@ast9052Ай бұрын
☝️🤓
@q-tuber7034Ай бұрын
@@pac1261 I don’t know why I am arguing with a non-native speaker, but: “Mislead” _is_ appropriate in the context because it _can_ be used when there is no bad intention (even though it can be used in other ways too, like your online dictionary says). “Trick” is not appropriate, because it cannot. There are other good options besides mislead (like: “let me look up the name because I don’t want to give you bad information”), but “trick” is incorrect.
