Fabi seems like an analysis machine... Also seems humble, so likeable as a champion. This video was enjoyable. Aggressive play by black. But probably a few inaccuracies... And the channel more generally adds a different flavour or angle, as compared to the others.

I love when players try to go for the win instead of the draw, especially against one of the best. You either get a brilliant game or you get to see how little inaccuracies lead to unplayable positions

There might be a world where Magnus won't play that much classical chess anymore. And then there will be a world where Fabi will tell everyone to kneel before him as he will be the new king in the world. One might argue he already is, unfortunately he didn't get his chance to fight for the actual crown, but I'm pretty sure he will get it once again.

I would of still captured the pawn with the queen and disrigard the attack on the queen and knight. I would just give up my knight plus, i would find checks forcing him away from the defends of his other pieces, and he doenst have time for pushing the past pawn because he has to deal with the cheks that are preventing the pawn push

I do not understand it! ... White could simply have CAPTURED that pawn (on b6, situation 9:35) before it moved to b5! White was attacking it twice - with his Bishop and directly behind it on the same diagonal with his Queen, and it was only covered ONCE by Black's Queen!

I guess Sam wanted to only win in a particular way. After fabi plays 28 b3 why not pull the bishop back to b7. Whites knight is exposed, and if it moves the only thing guarding whites c pawn is the d knight. But then after, if, white moves the knight, black can play knight to c6 to challenge the d knight. I liked that line better. I'll check. Yeah it ain't much better, still, low ply Monster like bishop all the way back to the max leap corner. So ok Fabi wins, but as per "lame duck"-i-am-not-competing-anymore-and-if-lose-and-i-dont-like-i-will-call-them-a-cheater-and-destroy-them-this-way-especially-those-honest-fools, Fabi cheated, so he is disqualified twice because he pissed off another player too, and so, the venue will continue with the remaining rocketts all lined up at 5.5 pts
