From 1992 through 1995 I used to bartend to Alex Jones in Austin while I was attending college. Alex was still on public access T.V. at the time, at the beginning of his career. He confided in me that he was going to do whatever he needed to do to get rich and famous, even if it meant "Making shit up" and lying, as long as it got him what he wanted. One that has stuck with me because I've seen it quite a lot in these conspiracy theories is the idea that the enemies (in the conspiracy) are simultaneously "at the same time too strong and too weak" depending on the context. Fascists play up a sense of overwhelming power in their enemies to engender fear among their followers, but also show them as incapable and weak so those followers are motivated to act and believe they can defeat this "overwhelming power". It's just double-think, at the end of the day. They are able to hold two contractory ideas in their head and believe them both to be true, even when confronted with evidence.

Hey Emma! I wanted to give you my hot take on NWO Wars: - The game was MEANT to lose money Why? Because any money spent on this game is money he can claim he doesn't have to pay the Parkland families. Jones has been moving money like crazy both during and after the trial to try to claim he doesn't have the money to pay his victims. The more money he burns, the less he has to give them. I've watched someone play through the whole game (game length was about an hour), and from a game development standpoint I was surprised by the quality. Gameplay is actually really smooth and the art is pretty good. This makes me think that Jones probably paid good money to a small team to make it. The game length ensures that 90% of people, even if they play the whole thing, can still refund it on Steam, and those that keep it probably won't make up for the development cost. So Jones gets a bunch of media attention for his toxic game meant as an F U to "the Libs", loses a bunch of money on it, and then gets to use that in court to reduce his total liability to the Parkland families.

I'll watch the day Outer Wilds comes on or she announces it here. She can't look it up though, and she has to play the main game before uploading it. Spoilers and backseating will completely ruin it. If stuck, It's better to call a friend who have played it, who you trust to be vague enough. I suggest "wasting" three hours in it to make a decision to play or bail, which includes about an hour in the tutorial. After three hours, I'm pretty sure she will be completely hooked by the concept which is a *very* unique experience. Outer Wilds is pretty much the only game I watch.

I have no doubt that Alex Jones' writers and editors for this trailer were tapped enough into meme culture to have included that footage on purpose. Here's a recommendation for a "political" retro action game on steam: "Pulling No Punches", a Brazilian indie beat 'em up (think Streets of Rage) game where you play as four girls fighting religious fundamentalists, COVID denialists and flat-earther anti-vaxxers in Brazil. It's quite fun and the art is gorgeous!

It was a game based on a comedy film told from the perspective of Judas about how he and Jesus stopped a zombie apocalypse where Lazarus was the patient Zero zombie. I'm glad you've done this. I'm a gamer and saw this on sale on steam. I'm an older gamer, so not always following game news. My first thought was that this could be a funny game taking the piss out of Alex Jones (I remember him back when he met Jon Ronson). I didn't bother looking more, but it's something I might have played on my steam deck. I didn't think it was endorsed. I'm guessing it's the old "they banned it from stream, now get it direct from me! Available for android and apple!." with some disclaimer about refunds that'll keep lawyers employed for a while if anyone challenged it.

You know, I'm not a good person, or at least I don't feel like I am because, by instance, it came to a point that I got so frustrated playing Assassin's Creed that I just started punching the beggars as soon as they came close to me just to get them out of my way; and that's aside everything that has happened on my playthroughs of Tenchu, Hitman, and in particular Age of Empires 2... In actuality, Soros and his family did a lot of work to undermine Nazi rule. This story applies to a lot of other people as well, of course, to varying degrees.
