A little back-story: I've only ever walked 2 humans on a leash thus far in my life. First one was a former coworker and it was part of my Halloween costume at the office (alien with human slave). No fking involved, for other reasons. Fast forward 10 years and the second is the aforementioned former-ish (it's complicated) partner - the 2nd time we hung out, we were taking my dog for a walk around 2am & they agreed to let me "walk" them as well (not much convincing required). A couple months into our relationship, I discovered they know each other when #1 posted on #2's FB page on their birthday. They're not related but have the same last name; turned out the 2nd person is the 1st person's barber. We facetimed him and had a good laugh. Just an odd coincidence...😆

@thomash.schwed36628 ай бұрын
The biography is partly wrong. He hasn't had "countless run-ins with the law"; he's had at least one too few given the stochastic language endorsing nonconsensual relations in just the first volume. On the other hand, his track record of abject failure with women says far more about him than it does about the women who have rejected him. With these books, Donovan Sharpe is, in effect, telling his potential readers: "I've been 'a flop with chicks...since 1956'. Now, through the pages of these books, I'll tell you how you, too, can be a flop with women." The above is a reference to a song. I'll put it this way: Someone should give Sharpe a bottle of "Love Potion Number Nine". After all, according to the lyrics, after he drinks it, he'll have himself one more run-in-this time with "the cop down at Thirty-fourth and Vine".

By denying God, man thinks that he is free, he will disappear when he dies and will not answer to anyone, but there is God, all people and creatures are servants of God, no one can change this, the materialistic system tried to be happy with the abundance of money and luxurious life in the world, but it did not work. There is a feeling of eternal life in humans. Allah gave this. No one wants to perish. The person who does good will find its reward in heaven both in this world and in the afterlife. To make a long story short... I loved all my moms and all the advice they gave me over the years... with the biggest piece of advice being, "No means no". And thanks to those women and my mom... I learned, when dating, to listen to the person speaking to see if they were someone I wanted in my life, be it a friend, lover or serious relationship... and it sure didn't take 5 books to figure out what women were saying to me at any given time if I was listening. Proper title: "My Perceptions of Women based on Projection and Wishful Thinking"; subtitle: "An Insecure Man's Guide to Feeling Entitled to Sex and Misogyny." I've been cheated on by almost every partner I've had, and I am not as jaded as this nutter. At some point, you have to look at yourself and think, "Is it me?" And yes. It is you. I am shy and co-dependent, so I have had very low standards. I've ignored SO MANY red flags because I didn't want to be alone. Yes, it is my own fault. Not that I got cheated on, but that I chose those women. Any time anyone thinks an entire group/demographic of people is the problem, they themselves are the problem. Goes for racists, sexists, LGBT+ists, etc. Reflect and introspect. Thanks for all you do, Emma. Delightful as always.

You are correct! It’s called “The Boy Who Would Be Queen” from the second season. The main story is definitely one of the most progressive in the show. While the side story does counterbalance it, it’s not enough to override the great message. One thing that’s interesting about the scene with the “girl to geek” translator is that Trixie, one of the popular girls asks her friend if that friend understood what the geeks were saying, but didn’t say one way or the other if she herself could. Though she also later says she definitely heard when Timmy mentioned a big gift, that, considering the rest of the episode, may have been part of her covering for being a geek in her own right.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "pick-up artists are autistic" but I think the rate at which I see these kinds of things suggests to me that at least some significant fraction of the PUA community exists in an intersection between neurodivergence and aggrieved patriarchal misogyny and entitlement.
