@MelissaPanek1239 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more !! You can actually feel their music, not just hear it. It reaches way down deep into your soul and doesn't let go. I'm so grateful for them, and Laynes perfectly amazing voice and the stories it tells. That's why 99% of my uploads are the real AIC !!! I do have a bunch more audio only shows. Hopefully one day I can get them uploaded. Thanks so much for watching my videos and for the kind words. \m/ \m/

+Melissa Panek I don't understand why people insult the fact that they're touring now with a different singer. I think Layne would WANT them to keep the spirit alive and celebrate an amazing band
@jimgravesus9 жыл бұрын
+Melissa Panek Thanks for the uploads. Big fan of AIC. Never saw many of these performances. They are my favorite of the 90's Seattle bands. Nirvana were cool but they didn't mesmerize me the way AIC did. To this day those songs, melodies and harmonies are as hard hitting as the first time I heard them.
@MelissaPanek1239 жыл бұрын
+mark Green Sorry Mark, but I'm one of those people. They should have changed their name and left Laynes songs alone. Those songs were personal and written from his pain and soul. Will has no business singing Love, hate, love and such songs. It was his voice that made the band what it was and I think out of respect for that it should have been left alone. None of us can say what Layne would have wanted or not. All I know is he felt abandoned by his band mates in the end. Which is evident in the lyrics of Long gone day by Mad Season. See you all from time to time Isn't it so strange How far away we all are now Am I the only one who remembers that summer Oh, I remember Everyday each time the place was saved The music that we made The wind has carried all of that away

I wish I could have seen them, too. A friend of mine and myself had tickets to see AIC open for Metallica back in the day. Metal Dog When Soundgarden got back together, I was late due to talking to my then neighbor before I left for the show. Missed the first 1/4 to 1/3 of their set. But thankfully I saw the rest. Cornell had a voice like an angel in person. I couldn’t believe how good he sounded. Only time I ever saw him, and while I still kick myself for being late, at least I saw him for most of their set. With Layne, ugh. Not one second. I wish they would release more official live videos. Not the same as being there. But it’s the closest we’ll ever get now.
