Frank Turek joins the podcast to talk about the common sense case for biblical marriage, and gives sound advice to Christians who are navigating pride month with their families, friends, and jobs. Frank specifically speaks to pastors with an urgent call to speak out about these issues, and gives Christians specific steps and talking points to bring up with their employers when they feel pressured to use preferred pronouns and affirm what the Bible and their conscience cannot. Don’t miss this episode packed with wisdom and biblical clarity.

As a Christian man, who has struggled with homosexual lust for my adult life, there is no PRIDE in this burden. It is a "thorn in my flesh." I am 49 years old now, so the desire isn't as strong as it used to be, but it never entirely goes away. ✝ 2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ✝ 2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

It is refreshing to hear from a Christian man who admits that God made him with same sex attraction, that it is not some demon or abnormality. It is who you are.

@22kirbysean We are all born with certain bents and proclivities that are outside of the will of God. That's why we have to be "born again" or "born of the spirit," as Jesus explains in John chapter 3. When we are born of the Spirit, we then learn to walk according to the spirit, rather than the flesh. Jesus tells us we are to take up our crosses daily and follow him, essentially crucifying the flesh on a daily basis, rather than embracing our sinful desires. Jesus died to set us free from those and took our punishment upon himself for our sin. We are not to live a sinful lifestyle because of the grace of God given to those in covenant with Him through the shed blood of Jesus but, rather, we are to deny ourselves with the strength that the Holy Spirit gives us daily to walk in purity, which is pleasing to God.

Mateocafe 45 did NOT "admit that God made him this way" nor did he deny that its a demonic abnormalty. If Im wrong, show me. Sentence #3? #12? Sorry, but it seems your wishful thinking has taken over reality. At most, God allows certain atrocities-as he did with Job. But we are to reject those bad things & follow Jesus. Im very happy Mateo is doing so.

I LOVE IT when the LIGHT of righteousness shines through the darkness from those who belong to Christ!! Gal. 3:28 the spiritual battlefield we are engaged in is the struggle for identity. Satan's noose is tight on them but THANK GOD HE transferred us out of darkness and into Christ. HE IS STILL the chain breaker; these deceptions are as always, rebuked by the word of God. Tread on the serpents and scorpions, each and every lie of the wicked one, tear down strongholds that keep men in blindness and take captive every argument that raises itself against the knowledge of Christ! Who's truth though? The one based off the most research and tangible facts or the one based in a book from thousands of years ago that didn't know science like we do nowadays? Have you looked at the thousands of studies on trans people and how there are multiple parts of their brain that often are more closely aligned with their gender identity? What do you think intersex people are then? What do you say about Indian cultures having a 3rd gender? Assuming you identify as a man or a women is your idea of being a man or women the same as mine or someone else's? No because gender is something we made vague labels for and then each person using it and identifying with it has a different experience of it.

Southern Evangelical Seminary is NOT the same institution as Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I just figured this out after googling both. I keep hearing people talking on podcasts referencing "Southern Seminary". I thought they were the same place, and it was stunning to hear you praising what I thought was a woke seminary, Alissa. This is because I just saw a video of Dr. Fuller (on the "Conversations That Matter" KZbin channel) describing how he was fired from "Southern Seminary", meaning Southern Baptist Theogical Seminary in Louisville Kentucky, because he refused to go woke. How do we really quantify if there is really more chatter or there is just more mainstream exposure to it? @@howdythere3121 If Atheism is true then morality doesn't exist- Frank Turek These are false premises or assertions not facts. Atheism is based in truth. How was the universe created? The only truthful answer is nobody knows. What happens when we die? The only truthful answer is nobody knows. Religion is based on people pretending to know things that nobody knows then convincing others of those lies. The Bible condones slavery, mass genocide, killing of children and rape. Virgin births, resurrections, miracles Dec born Messiah's and even the ten commandments were all stolen from Greek and Egyptian myths before the bible was written. The Roman's created religion to control the weak minded population by preying on their superstitious mindset and fear of death. To teach children that invisible supernatural beings watching over us exist is child abuse as nothing supernatural has ever been proven to exist. Liers always say they are telling the truth. He also stands for Israel and helps fight the crazy transgender ideologues. In WA they passes a law that they Gov can take the kids, give them gender affirming"care without parental concent.. We have since gotten an opposing bill on the books to counter this madness. But I wanted to say there are Pastors standing up for truth. They are just far and few between.

Preteens and teens that struggle socially or are just at an awkward age and trying to fit in, they can announce they are trans, ‘bi’, gay or whatever, suddenly get attention, acceptance and a badge of honor. Instantly they find the attention they want and a social circle that is, often, very openly antagonistic to God’s plan. Very deceptive and harmful for them to come to believe they have to change themselves to be accepted and be seen.

Very helpful. I think the tide here in UK may be already turning in terms of encouraging young children to identify as trans - as you mentioned, the clinic at the centre of puberty-blocking treatment has been forced to close. Interestingly, Frank, when I was eight, and like many of your friends, many of mine wanted to be space pilots or other exciting things, I wanted to be a doctor, and so the direction of my school education was simplified, and I did study medicine and worked as a Community Paediatrician. Incidentally, Joanne Rowling was brought up in church, and does consider herself a Christian, though not, I think, evangelical in outlook.

What alarms me is there are doctors willing to participate in this. How do doctors go from healing to this kind of surgery in which healthy bodies are being mutilated?
@BigAl53750
@BigAl53750 Жыл бұрын
Great question! If I may, can I offer some advice? This is not a new situation, having its roots in the idea that the primary goal of the medical profession is to bring health to the world, which seems like a noble cause, but led to all manner of wrong thinking amongst medical professionals in the early 20th century. There are a few KZbin documentaries about this that shed light on the rise of such horrific things as sterilisation of certain people groups, without any knowledge of the subjects of this practice! One of the documentaries that touches on this is; The Nurses Of The Third Reich. The basis for most (if not all) the evils we saw in the Holocaust, is the idea that if Doctors could somehow get rid of unhealthy people, they would win the fight against illness and disease. The science of EUGENICS (that was eagerly accepted and pursued by the medical profession across the world) claimed that most illnesses and diseases had their source in certain ethnic groups across the world and that if such ethnic groups were bred out of humanity, the result would be a massive improvement on the health of the general population of the world. The thing most people don’t realise about the motivation of the people who not only allowed, but applauded (even eagerly participated in) the dreadful events that followed in the Nazi version of ethnic cleansing, is that Doctors across the world eagerly swallowed this appalling idea and began to act accordingly! There are other documentaries that reveal the facts about this bankrupt idea, but this one is a good start.

Sadly, a majority of doctors today consider abortion as "women's healthcare." Anyone who has thrown away their moral compass when slaughtering unborn children likewise won't have problem mutilating born children. We're being given over to the result of the depraved mind, which means likely this is just the beginning. More will follow. * But we don't worry or fear. Our hope is in God, so that we can stand firm to the end.

What is a woman? What is woke? Why does one side have simple answers to these questions and the other side avoids them? #1 You see a child drowning in a shallow pool and notice a person just watching that is able to save the child with no risk to themselves but is not, is that person moral? #2 If you go to save the child, the man tells you to stop as he was told it was for the greater good, but he does not know what that is, do you continue to save the child or stop? #3 Is it just to punish innocent people for the crimes of others? #4 If you were able to stop it and knew a person was about to grape a child would you stop it? #5 Would you consider an all knowing parent who put their kids in a room with a poison fruit and told the kids not to eat it but then also put a supernatural con artist in the room with the children knowing the con artist will get the kids to eat the fruit and the parent does nothing to stop it a good parent? Going to avoid the simple moral questions or are you honest enough to answer them?

I am so looking forward to getting to listen to you two with Natasha Crain in Nashville! I so appreciate these conversations. I personally have been going through the transgender interactions since high school with different friendships over the years. One of my closet friend that I had stand with me on my wedding day has decided to aesthetically transition towards looking like a man and has changed her name as well. I’ve been going through this with her since 2018. Even more recently she sent me an invitation to her renaming ceremony with her progressive church in California. I’d love some more information on these ceremonies someday to get some insight and understanding on what, if anything, I ought to say to her or my children about this. I have many ideas, but I don’t fully understand the ceremonial practices so it’s hard to formulate a deep response to it.

Thank you for this. I feel buffeted from all sides lately. Two young members of my family (14 and 12) have pretty much announced to their parents that they are gay and/or trans. Their parents are choosing to 'support' them, which is breaking our hearts. All we can do on our side is pray and lift them to God as we do not have the access to speak truth to them. These kids are in a place of learning themselves---and they are being so sadly deceived and pushed to this new cultural 'fad'.

Always define or ask your friend in conversation, to define your/their terms. THAT is THE PROBLEM. The “love” that LGBTQETC DOES is “selfish” love that stimulates the “flesh”. Godly ‘love” or AGAPE love is “unselfish” and is concerned about the other person’s needs and boundaries, with respectful service. The EROS love, is only concerned with the selfish need to “feel” good. There are always exceptions to a real and undeniable principle. Jesus said,”Wisdom is proved right by her children.”

Jesus addressed the 10 Commandments and other commandments by going beyond them being wrong and that God will punish them for going against the law. He does that with the correction for these laws which will bring us joy, love and freedom. The Beatitude is a good example of this. Homosexuals want intimacy like everyone else and think people are attacking them for doing what everyone else does. They exclude the opposite sex from their intimacy because they hold grudges against them and think they were treated unfairly by them. Jesus gave us the general correction for prejudice whether it is against gender or race or other categories and that is always forgiveness. The rainbow people want to be proud of who they are and accepted regardless of their prejudices. I have known women who had been in abusive relationships and entered into lesbianism. They met men who helped them through their anger and were married.
