During the pandemic, our franchise's owner covered someone for a few days because they had gotten the virus, and no one else was available either due to the virus or otherwise. That's just the type of dude our franchise owner is. Super chill, super nice. He came in once and saw the store was a little dirty, our night lead said something along the lines of, "sorry, we've been super busy and haven't gotten a chance to get around to it today." Franchise owner looked at him and replied, "I saw sales tonight; you had big rushes, you're good. just clean when and where you can tonight." My favourite story to tell about this dude was when he was covering for this aforementioned girl who had the virus. This Karen started screaming at him - for asking her to wear a mask, of course - and went "I KNOW THIS FRANCHISE OWNER, I HAVE THEIR NUMBER! I COULD GET YOU FIRED!" Franchise owner: "Oh yeah? Go ahead. Call." ..You can imagine the embarrassment that ensued.

A C section is infant hard mode. Imagine trying to take care of a baby with 3 feet of staples in your belly. Imagine the baby shifting while drinking milk and tearing open your C section wound. Imagine every move being painful

Yeah it's a very large scar. I would say it's definitely worse than normal delivery for 90% of women. I'm sure having an episiotomy is pretty bad too but, that's usually a snip. A C-section is really brutal. I do not know how Karens got it in their mind that it shouldn't count as a real delivery

Absolutely true. We have a cat, and whenever my fiance eats something with onions, or cuts them up, he's extremely careful to not let ANY onion pieces get on the floor. Same with raisins and chocolate. Our cat isn't always gonna eat off the floor if we drop food, sometimes she's not interested, but we don't take that chance with anything that will make her sick.

To an extent for sure. Just earlier though, I went "Hey can dogs have bell peppers?" For my partner, who has had dogs for probably 20 years combined, to go "Idk, google it". You can not expect ANYONE to know exactly how every given piece of food in what quantity effects their animal, especially with conflicting opinions. To be fair there can be other restrictions set in place that all who live within the HOA agree to to create a safe environment for everyone. Things that are not restricted by law, like quiet hours etc. The collective rules also do keep the value higher, as rundown homes tank a neighborhood value. They do have purpose. The tricky bit is not finding yourself in an HOA that has rules against what you want to do, and rather finding one that is of like minded people.

To explain the Wizard of Oz picture for those who don't know. That woman is Dorothy's neighbor. She's the one who ends up being the Wicked Witch in the dream. She comes to the farm at the beginning to take away their dog Toto, because he allegedly bit someone or attacked something on her property, (we never see this happen, so we don't know if she's lying, and I can't 100% remember which one it was.) And she even has an official document saying the dog needs to be put down. Considering the time period the movie takes place in, she probably is allowed to just do that. Even without police involvement. Dorothy's aunt and uncle don't want any trouble, so they let her take Toto. But when she takes him away, he escapes from her bike basket and goes back to Dorothy.

Best manager moment I ever experienced was a Karen blasting us (McD's) about screwing up her order. All of us are confused or trying to stiffle laughter till she asks for the manager. The store manager goes out, listens to her ranting and belittling and finally says "And what do you plan to do about it?!" He points to the bag of food she brought back, then points out to the road while saying "I'd head up the road another mile or so to BK where you got that food from". That face went from red anger to red blush of shame 27:10 Ah, we had something like this lately in our town's community facebook page. Woman owns ducks and lets them free range. They like to free range across the road to eat mullberries. This is a thing she knew about and admitted to knowing. She complained someone ran over one of her ducks and that they were bad for doing so. Everyone that called her out about knowing about this issue and doing nothing to stop it makes her that bad person got the same response; "Thanks for the rude response but ur wrong" and after enough of them just turned off commenting on her post.

Well, it doesn't always align with your personal goals. I was offered a promotion to full-time after about 3 weeks at my gas station job. Despite the fact that I had repeatedly told them that this was a convenient summer job for me and that I did not want full-time hours. Like, I told them that in the interview. I told them that when my GM asked about my goals there. I told them that when my individual managers asked if I wanted more hours. I was still offered full-time, and my manager was visibly astounded when I turned it down. I told her the exact same thing I had said many times before- I was working this job to have spending money during the summer. I was also treated notably worse by that manager afterwards. Obviously that's different from the one in the video, but there are real reasons someone might turn down a promotion.

I think the female version of "Steve" as the altogether great and wholesome person is "Dolly." As in Dolly Parton. Also, I got in a screaming fight with my father on Hollywood Blvd. because he was rude to a drive through worker (as per usual) and, having had it, I called him out and he ARGUED with me that he can talk to people however he wants. I literally bolted out of the van in front of our destination and ripped the passenger door open screaming at him that doing that was horrible and swearing at him. Yeah. An older guy was talking to them and asked the woman “Oh, who do you belong to?”. My hometown is on the border of VA/NC and this is a typical way of asking who your family is or who you know in town. This lady got FURIOUS and before she could lose it(i could see it brewing on her face) I stepped in and said “ma’am, he’s just asking who you know in town”😂😂😂 luckily she was nice and chuckled a bit.
