Honestly with Sage I'm the 7 now, I don't know how A-train WONT get caught if he keeps helping hughie and The Boys. From a narrative standpoint, you don't just introduce a character as the "smartest person in the world" and have them hanging around just to miss every little detail that a lesser detective would have picked up on. I'm pretty sure that If A-train is caught, sister sage will have something to do with it

i was thinking this as well. BUT, i also don't think Sage is on Homelander's side. I think she has her own motivations and will be the season's primary antagonist in the end. I wouldn't be shocked if she is the one killed by Homelander instead of A-train.

I really don't want to see A-Train die since I like the character and love seeing his super speed in action, but I think this is what is going to happen. He is also too OP as far as being able to get items that The Boys need and rescue them from danger by quickly getting them away from the scene. If A-Train fully went to their side, it would take a lot of the underdog feel that the team has had throughout the show. I also think it will be Sage that finds out about his betrayal (if she doesn't know already).

As a character, I don’t want him to die, but him as having an ark in his story I think it would be fitting for him to die at some point when he fully understands genuine sympathy and humility. Could be nice for him to move somewhere like QM did but I don’t think it’s gonna happen twice.

He’ll die one of two ways. 1. He joins The Boys, but is quickly killed via a bomb in his chest (there’s a popular theory that a bomb was put in his chest). 2. The comic scene of Maeve saving Starlight will go to A-Train. He’ll die saving Hughie’s new girlfriend, whereas he killed his old one. Both would be poetic. The first is more in line with the show and pessimistic nature of it. It would show that even though he wanted to become a genuine hero, his fate is still appropriate, since he still murdered a lot people and was complicit in far more atrocious crimes. He doesn’t get his full redemption. The second is one of full redemption. I also feel Hughie would call A-Train’s family and tell him he was a hero in the end. The Boys might even take them into custody and put them in witness protection, since you can bet Homelander would want to brutally torture them to death.

I’m hoping that when/if this fight takes place, A-Train leaves it all on the table. He can absolutely put up a decent fight against Homelander so long as he can stay moving. I’m not sure if single handed shots will work, so he needs to be bladed up. We’ve already seen that Homelanders ears are vulnerable, which means his eyes, etc. are as well. I don’t think A-Train makes it out alive, but I do think he can cause some serious damage if he’s prepared.

Out of all the Characters in the Series, A-Train has a Complex Journey on the Light and Dark Side in the Morality Spectrum so for all the Things he has done that has come to regret, I believe A-Train will be Redeemed and will Die in the Final Episode of Season 4 as it’s clear Homelander and Sage knows about the Speedster’s Betrayal and are Playing the Long Game and the last episode is called Assassination Run.

All of the redeemed or even fully good supes in this show that aren’t named Starlight have been written off in some way eventually. First Blindspot being at best irreparably crippled, at worst killed (though if I’m being honest it would probably be more accurate to say he’s more on the neutral side of the alignment chart because we never saw him do anything really good or bad), then Supersonic being killed, then Maeve being depowered. A-Train’s likely going next whether that means he’s dying or just leaving Vought.
