Henry VIII beheaded two wives who were accused of cheating on him (and thus potentially conspiring to pass off any bastards as heir to the throne.) 1st marriage: lasted 24 years. Henry had it annulled, unconvinced his 47-year-old wife could "give" him a son 3rd marriage: wife died in childbirth 4th marriage: a reverse-Tyrion situation - annulled because he found her so ugly he couldn't get it up to consummate the marriage 6th marriage: lasted 4 years, until Henry died

When Joffrey clutched his throat in the Purple Wedding episode I honestly thought that Sansa had poisoned him for a moment and I have to admit that I cheered a little. There might have been a chant involved. It was my GoT reaction video moment and actually quite fun.

Holy shit the hatred against Sansa is disgusting. She just watched her own father BEHEADED right in front of her and is now a hostage of his murderers. But somehow, she is "seeking attention" for being understandably depressed and upset after all she has been through. Wow Sansa antis will never cease to amaze me with stupidity. Some people really don't want to actually READ her chapters to understand what's going on with her or what a great character she is.

Also, on publicly reporting suicides, there is a notable social psychology phenomena of an uptick in suicides when there is a known suicide which I think is still unclear as to any definite whys, but it's suspected to be higher than suspected because of the amount of seeming accidental deaths. It's not really a fame or media thing as it's been noted in communities of all kinds of sizes and cultures.

Sansa turns on people only when they do something bad to her. Her sense of morality is very self-interested. Marrying Ramsay is ok until he does something bad to her. She walks around with self-interested blinders.
@mathiasrosier6606 жыл бұрын
That's not true at all. Sansa is one of the nicest and most empathetic POV characters. She ignored how people truly are in the first book because she needed things to fit like a song, but in so many occasions have people acted horribly to other people in the books and she openly condemned them. Marrying Ramsey was never ok, it was a means to an end, but she was fine with marrying him because she did not know about who he truly was or what he truly done. That situation does not reflect in any way your previous statement since she would have to know about how he truly was before she was engaged to him, which she didn't. And that's show stuff anyways and we're talking about the books.

The main reason I came to hate Sansa was because in none of her chapters do I ever recall her taking any responsibility for her father’s death. No, she didn’t do the deed and she’s not responsible for that. But because of her selfishness and her inability to look beyond her own wants, this was the result. And even in later books she never even thinks about it. She says Joffrey is awful and he chopped off my father’s head. And the queen is awful. But not that she herself actually did anything wrong. Whenever she thinks of it, she leaves that out.
@Galvatronover Жыл бұрын
That first sentence invalidates the rest of your sentence you should have stopped while you were ahead
@rpproductions6241 Жыл бұрын
@Galvatronover Not sure how. Maybe you just misinterpreted it. Pretty sure if my actions led to someone's death because I couldn't look beyond my own selfishness at the time, I wouldn't conveniently leave out the part in telling people "oh hey yeah I ratted him out btw".
@koorohshahmoradi48822 ай бұрын
I've only seen the show and have just recently finished book 1 of asoiaf (Game of Thrones) If Sansa were to have thought she were responsible for Ned's death , she'd be wrong. She was a 12 year old girl with a small understanding of the situation she was in. Her actions were that of a naive kid , those who should feel responsible (and guilty) for their behavior are the adults who took advantage of her. Hopefully, this is a reflection of poor media literacy and nothing else. Cause if in real life you were to tell a freshly traumatized child that they should feel RESPONSIBLE for their fathers death, you'd be a psychopath.
