That's what I thought I saw the graph thought it was Whitney at first but, when you say west texas, that's not possum kingdom is more like north central Texas

El paso, far west texas Amarillo the panhandle of texas, Lubbock is considered the south plains of texas to me anything west of abilene and San Angelo to midland, Odessa that's west, texas past that far west texas El paso south to Brownsville the Rio grande Valley from Brownsville up to corpus Christi to Houston, the gulf coast San Antonio to Austin south of I 35 to me that's south texas me, I'm in the most beautiful part of this entire state the hill country this place at times is quite possibly the most beautiful place on earth, I've seen the hills as far as you can see a sea of blue under a sky of blue, some years better than others but those great years so much blue you can't tell where the ground ends and the sky begins.

There is a fish biologist with Texas Parks and Wild life that is working on why Bass have those spots on them. They call it blotchy bass syndrome, they believe it can be related to a form of virus. There is a live video she posted on the Texas BassHoles Facebook page. Her name is Cynthia Fox Holt and she’s collecting pictures of the bass and any known locations where they have been caught.
