That isn't 100% true, but a proper conversation with someone you're interested in should be a back and forth. So if you cause someone else to lead a conversation, it suddenly becomes easy since you're not getting tongue tied thinking of what to ask. It just flows naturally from what they ask or tell you about themselves. To me it appears much more thirsty when someone asks a question when none are coming there way.

It's really freaky how everyone in this movie, pretty much, only cares about themselves. Like that girl didn't care about Bateman at all, even ignoring him telling her he's a murder, until he asks her a question about herself. You'd probably think she just didn't hear him over the music. But then they step out and: "You think all models are dumb don't you?" "No I really don't." "That's okay I don't mind. I think there is something sweet about you." Like as if she wasn't even listening. Like she already planned out what she was going to say and it didn't matter what his response was.

Decadent. Wasteful. Selfish. Destroyed moral fibre in so many human beings. The West was infinitely more degenerate by the end of the 80s than it was at the start.

@Coffee Arts I'd argue the 70's were much worse, are you seriously basing your opinion of a decade on a satirical book written by a guy who was too old for that era, the same shit happens every generation, but of course when a decade is objectively bad for most people except the rich, that never counts
