Also femboys are explicitly and deliberately a separate group from trans women. The difference is sometimes hard to spot in the moment, but fundamental to their identity. Kinda like neonazis and OiSkins. Visual overlap despite diametrically opposed positions. A trans woman is a person was designated male at birth and usually grew up as a boy until running into the persistent and often desperate awareness that they are not that. They identify as girls, later women. And they generally seek to bring their body and outward representation into alignment with this self-perception. Ideally they would seek transition through social and medical means at a young age, using puberty blockers to prevent their bodies from developing into the wrong direction until they can proceed towards hormone treatments and possibly surgeries. Fun fact: In german law parents are not allowed to hit their children. It is rated as the same criminal offense (bodily harm) when f.ex. you would attack your neighbor for mowing his lawn (or any other stupid reason some people attack someone). I think the problem here is also that the concept of radio plays is mainly a German thing as far as I know. For those who don' know, they are recorded audio stories, mostly spoken dialogue and mostly made for children. A lot of german kids have them as audio cassettes, CD's and now I guess they can be streamed.

PDS in this context means the same as POV. Its just translated to German literally. Point of view - Punkt der Sicht Normally point of view would translate to Gesichtspunkt (face point) or Blickwinkel (angle of view). Same goes for Femjunge (femboy) and Winzigwelle (microwave, Mikrowelle). Many Germans find it funny to translate English brand names or common anglicisms word for word. Some on the far right do it to "rescue the German language from the grip of the American influence". But it's done by the most just to annoy people. So "Handy" (German noun which is short for handheld phone) becomes "Handlich" (just the adjective handy translated), KZbin becomes DuRöhre and Microsoft Windows becomes Winzigweich Fenster. Same is done the other way round by translating common German expressions or sayings into English in the worst possible way. Like "Ich glaube ich spinne." (I think I'm going crazy) becomes "I believe I spider!" or einwandfrei (flawless, lit. without objection) becomes one-wall-free. My father learned English while working as a CS Guard for the US Army in South West Germany and he loved to do this all the time. Like instead of saying "Mein lieber Herr Gesangsverein!" (an expression of disbelief or mild anger) he would say "My dear Mr Singing Club!".

Audio plays are scripted like theatre and are played by a cast of voice actors. They also make use of sound effects and music just like movies. So an audio play is much more immersive than an audio book.

When I was a kid, it was common for many parents to beat up their children if they had done something wrong. This beat up could be done with everything imaginable like a shoe, leather belt, newspaper or this carpet swatter. This thing was made of woven willow branches. It is highly flexible and because of that it will enhance the force you use. These crossing parts then spot the power and it really stings if you get hit. I never was hit in anger but we tried to "sword fight" with them. We often had to explain the red marks on our arms and legs. There always was one rule at those "fights" that was a basic: "Never ever hit above the shoulder! If you try you're banned forever."

What you described as a flyswatter is about 2,5 - 3 ft. long, with a pad around 5-6 inches in width, made out of sturdy branches and with holes about an inch across. You'd be very lucky to hit any flies with that. Its intended use is to hit rugs to get dirt and dust easier out, but occasionally it was used on misbehaving children to "tann their hides".

Wir haben die Orginalbücher von Enid Blyton (deutsche Übersetzung) inklusive der Fortsetzung dieser Französin gelesen. Die sind schon besser und machen mehr Sinn als diese CDs. Mir gefällt es, wie das Thema Gleichberechtigung darin nicht gepredigt wird, aber dennoch Georginas Frust darüber zum Ausdruck kommt, dass sie oft nicht dabei sein darf, wenns gefährlich wird. Aber auch der Anne-Typus kommt nicht schlecht weg, weil Anne im Zweifelfall echt Mut beweist, wenn sie muss. Georgina entwickelt sich vom sehr eigensinnigen Trotzkopf im Laufe der Bücher zu einer mutigen Strategin, die oft sogar schon mehr weiß als die anderen, aber auf ihren Moment wartet und begriffen hat, dass es nix bringt mit dem Kopf durch die Wand zu wollen. Die CDs sind halt echt unbefriedigend wenn man die Bücher gelesen hat.

TKKG, Die 3 Fragezeichen and such are not music, they are audio plays for kids. They had their big time in the 70s and 80s and were sold on compact casettesas weekly episodes. But some still exist till today, now on CD or as MP3. A tip for finding sleep: try to play a video (sound video) of white noise or browm noise, that you can find here on YT. It has helped me. That instrument at the end is a Teppichklopfer, a "carpet whacker". Its about 4 ft long and was once used to clean carpets, before people had vacuum cleaners. You would hang the carpet over a simple arch made of steel pipes in the back yard, and then beat the shit out of it. Literally, well almost literally. And some people also used it to punish their kids.

A carpet beater was very common before the invention of the electric carpet cleaner... You just move your carpet outside and hit it with the carpet beater to get out all that dust. There was a Teppichklopfer ("rug beater") in my childhood home. My grandmother lived in our house too and there was a lot of old stuff lying around in the basement. It looked just like the one in the picture. We even had a "Teppichklopfstange" (rug beating bar) in the backyard. But I never knew what it originally was until I spotted it in a very old picture with a large rug hanging over it. I only ever knew it as a frame for hanging our swing and as a climbing bar, that's what it was used for when a vaccum cleaner moved into our household :)

The reason why food in the microwave is not equaly hot lays in the wave. The wave isnt that micro it is about 5cm and only has energy in the highs and lows of the wave.
