There is a whole story behind this performance. She was going through some tough times, mental health issues and even contemplating to quit singing. The whole momemt was premeditated by the fans to show how much she means to them. This concert was a turning point for her. Should definitely look at Caruso, Adagio and other masterpieces from Lara. You won't regret it.

Je T'aime (I Love You - lyrics Lara Fabian and probably her most famous song). A fan yells "don't sing, Lara!" looking bewildered she hears her fans start singing. Lara starts with "you caught me off guard!" As she starts another fan cries out "don't cry. Lara". Her fans had contacted her pianist and arranged this epic and beautiful tribute to surprise Lara during a personal crisis of losing some close a few days before this concert. So 6000+ (some say up to 8000) joined in singing her song and when Lara sung: Je T'aime (I Love You) her fans responded: On T'aime (We Love you!). You would think that this was Freddie Mercury's last concert performed before a sold out concert!!

The crowd wasn't crazy at all... They all were bursting with love for Lara, and Mrs Lara at that time, really needed that love by there fans.. It was a troubled time for Mrs Lara Fabian, I believe all that positive energy and love by her fans, helped her some how to overcome that bad moment in her life. Mrs Lara Fabian has always been loved by her fans and I believe she will always be, well deserved for everything she has given us with her music. It's the least we can offer... Our unconditional love.

This is not merely singing your song back to you. Translation of the title is "I love you. However, some of the crowd shouted that she mustn't sing, so before she could even start, they sang "We love you!" It suddenly dawned on her that this was how they (the crowd) felt about her. She obviously then became very emotional, but at the same time she must've gained courage and strength and responded in the best way she could. What a life-giving gift to Lara. Not only was this event so planned in support of someone who's life had been filled with hurtful experiences, but also because Lara is, in fact, a highly respected artist who is also really loved very much. Follow suggested songs from others - examples Caruso, Adagio, Jesius malade. I also recommend some research on Lara Fabian, especially interviews in order find out more about the woman and her journey as a musician.

The crowd has changed slightly the lyrics by singing to Lara We love you instead of the lyric that was I love you. That explains why she was almost crying. If you liked this one, you have to go watch Je suis malade with the english subtitles.

Definitely check out Requiem pour un fou. It is the best duet I have ever seen! Totally different side to her that will surprise you. Johnny Hallyday was the biggest rock star that France ever had & you may find that you’ll want to add him to your list for reactions. @@Amicy I really did appreciate your reaction. If not, I would not have watched it twice or maybe three times. But what I noticed is that, unlike so many other reactions, you remained joyful whereas it is a very emotional song and the fans gave her the credit she deserved. That is why you can easily see her crying during the whole song as she could hardly sing it because of the devotion of her fans.
