Doug losing with Magic Deflector set for two turns while MBT kicked his teeth in with continuous spells, then missing a Ragin draw for no reason. Genuinely painful. I know a lot of people think Fabled is a meme, but it's honestly a very reasonable strategy. The main issue is that you sometimes need cards like Almiraj and Gravity Controller to get cards into the GY, so I don't think it's really playable in sealed. The set-pass Abanc thing wouldn't have happened in constructed, for instance. The deck also benefits a LOT from hand traps, IMO - one of those rare combo decks that actually doesn't mind swapping cards out for them. Most people want to draw into extension off their Ragin but drawing into an Ash and an Imperm feels pretty damn good, especially when the deck doesn't have a ton of interaction otherwise. Kudabbi Pass would have basically been an FTK vs. MBT's deck so I feel good chalking this one up to bad luck. Guy seriously didn't draw either Marcosia or Stairway in two games.
