Nicholas Britell is the three-time Oscar-nominated composer of Succession, Moonlight, The Underground Railroad, Vice, Don't Look Up, The Big Short, Cruella, and more. A fascinating, rather unconventional choice for this show.

The wonderful actress Fiona Shaw plays Maarva. Yes she is also known as Harry Potter's evil muggle aunt. But she has been in Fleabag, Enola Holmes, Killing Eve, and Baptiste.

We learn from the transport guy that Cassian talks to that Kenari was a mining planet that was abandoned due to a massive accident that killed everyone. Cassian's "tribe" that we see are all kids or teens. Most likely, they were all left behind because all their parents were killed and the mining corporation just left them there to die. Or some of them were witnesses to what actually happened that killed their parents and were left behind to die. Either way, they ended up banding together and survived.

I don't think the tribe of kids has ever seen anything like that before. So they wouldn't have known to warn her, because they may not have seen a blaster before.

Nicholas Britell is the fantastic composer who usually collaborates with Barry Jenkins and also composed the amazing Succession theme and the great music on that show!

When Cassa AKA Cassian is younger that's towards the end of the Clone Wars their planet was under separatist control. From the CO text clues I'm assuming they forced all the adults to work in the Mines and an acct occured which killed them all and the separatist abandoned the planet leaving the children alone to fend for themselves e.i. Lord of the Flies
@Nyx_2142 Жыл бұрын
It was under Republic control, they strip-mined the planet and left the orphans. The Separatists merely crashed there.

In Star Wars Corporations own solar systems. The Mining Guild is a notable one. So they have militaries(corporate security) to control the semi-slave like conditions. Think American coal miners who were striking because of atrocious living conditions. Also doesn't the B droid sound like Tars from Interstellar. Great vid guys.

I think it's the most interesting that the people _WITHIN_ the Empire trying to do the right thing from their perspective are the biggest danger here. The people who are not motivated to quietly make up a pleasant story about why someone died to maintain the status quo, but defy attempts by their superior officers to downplay a double homicide as an accident and chase down actual justice and apprehend a murderer. Those are all of the qualities that would make them noble within the Rebellion. That's why I'm interested to see how this goes for everyone involved, because I think that it'll cause ripples in unexpected ways, especially with Saw eventually set to make an appearance and highlight those elements even more.

This show is AMAZING. 💯 what I was looking for in a SW spy thriller. Great character motivation, and the way things are being pulled back and revealed feels very fresh for this franchise. That music in the end was awesome…glad Lucasfilm is embracing new elements while still building out the world and lore that came before. ✌🏾➕✊🏾

I almost wish they spoke Spanish in Kenari. With all the different types of species in Star Wars there's no reason why it should only have to be English and alien languages... But, among all the things so well done in this show, the soundtrack is just amazing...

Why I agree they should use more earthly languages in Star Wars, people would have thought that was extremely racist to have tribles speaking Spanish
@Aquilarden2 жыл бұрын
Galactic Basic gets translated to English for the audience, or whatever dubbed languages are available. Just like in LoTR, where Westron gets translated to English while the Elf languages are left as they are.

@ClhCgu45 Yeah, I agree with that... I'm South American, and I always notice that Hollywood really thinks that's how we live down here. 😅

When they speak English they’re speaking “Basic” the universal language of the galaxy. Basic is determined by which country/language you’re viewing the show/movie in. For English speaking countries Basic is English, it’s Spanish in Spanish speaking countries. French in French speaking etc so on and so forth.

Thank you, Adam! Thank you, Hector! Thank you, Agustin! 🌠 Wookieepedia says 'Cassian' was born 26 BBY. If he's 12ish in those flashbacks, they would take place around 14 BBY. Perhaps the makers will clarify soon? #HeroesReforged #StarWars #Andor #DisneyPlus

Unnecessary tip: If you want pronounce ”Skarsgard” somewhat correctly, imagine it’s spelled ”Skarsgord”. Then again the Skarsgard clan seems to have accepted the English pronounciation.

Really think y’all are misreading Timm here. Sure a tiny bit of jealousy could be a factor, but more than that, I took it as Timm wanting to not piss off the Preox Corporation. He doesn’t want to be potentially an add-on to Cassian who, by definition, IS a fugitive. Gotta look at from all sides. Not saying he’s right, as I’m definitely with Cassian in all this, but you gotta understand Timm’s larger motivation for calling it in. It’s not just petty jealousy.
