Yes yes. Many chromatin remodelling complex can interact with histone deacetylase and repress the transcription. For example, NuRD/Mi-2 remodeling complexes primarily mediate transcriptional repression in the nucleus and are required for the maintenance of pluripotency of embryonic stem cells

Hey man great video, thanks for your effort! I do have a question though. As far as I know members of the ISWI family do actually also contain a bromodomain in chromatin remodeling complexes, such as for example NoRC. There's a bromodomain in Tip5. So the ISWI proteins (like Snf2H) do not harbor them but the associated ones in the complex do. Is it a matter of definition then? Because on the one slide showing the table about the different families, you define the ISWI family as having no bromodomain. I hope this was understandable. Thanks anyway :) great presentation
