Euler did not get a Nobel for prostaglandins, but for his research on neurotransmitters. He dicovered the existence of prostaglandins but did not elaborate on the topic. The Nobel for research on prostaglandins was awarded in 1982 to Vane, Samuelsson and Bergstrom.

Came here to learn more about prostaglandins because I was prescribed indomethacin for a knee inflammation. Very informative and you soothed my curiosity. Thanks! P. S. I'm from Canada and a good friend of mine is from South India. He is away visiting family for quite a while now due to covid. I miss him, and your accent was also nice to hear. I know I can hear indian accents everywhere but it was a nice bonus. 😉.

Please!!!! Request… I just discovered this prostaglandin dynamic. It seems to be a key player in my familial medical presentations and I would love to have more details to back up or dismiss that hypothesis or thought thread. Signaling. How an appropriate prostaglandin response could flip a switch in programming to become inappropriately turned on or triggered to be a recurring repeating signal with a common or similar stimuli? I have wondered for some time if Mast Cell Activation and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is a recurring looping signal of Prostaglandin release based on a programmed prior threat code in the host. Then with dilation of vessels vascular and degranulation effect produced by the mast cells permeability between gut brain skin tissue organ barriers become compromised leading to sensitization to environment items breathed in and through the skin and items ingested then coded as “threats” inappropriately because it has entered into tissue through then bloodstream when it should not leading to an autoimmune response? Ok they was loaded. But basically a cascade. Grandfather Esophageal Cancer His descendant my Father prostrate cancer All fathers female descendants experienced life threatening first child postpartum Hemorrhaging Familial symptoms syndromes: Allergic Bronchitis Allergic dermatology EoE Mast Cell Activation POTS Hyper-mobility Connective Tissue Disease Autism Irritable bowel / Chron’s Varicose Veins Could this Al potentially be a cascade of a prostaglandin response gone rogue… maybe a mediator missing in the code that modulates signaling? Help? Living hell conditions

I suggest you to change your accent and try to speak normally without making any styles. Focus more on what you are explaining, many terms are left unexplained. You have not told that prostaglandin is one of the eicosanoids. Try to go into the details of the topics, if it takes long time make multiple videos, but please be a bit more illustrative. Otherwise, animations are good, self-explanatory. Make a detailed video on how the prostaglandin work on various organs, since it has miscellaneous functions.
