I like that even after so many projects completed, you’re still taking chances to learn new stitches and techniques (even if they can’t make it to the final project)

omg! i frogged one of my old projects with red yarn and for solid 3 weeks didn't know what to do, but then i saw the scarf and how adorable these hearts look... i've never picked my needles that fast! now im sitting and knitting heart scarf (a bit different from yours, added a few details) and enjoying the video! 💖✨ (jiji tapestry looks so cute 😭)
@lilbunnyxo10 ай бұрын
omg question, is that a project thats okay for beginners?? i really love how it looks and want to knit myself one but i know nothing about knitting! i have some needles my roommate got me and practiced a couple times with her but now im moved out and theyre just in my craft area waiting to be used lol
@lilbunnnybo10 ай бұрын
@lilbunnyxo i feel like it might be a bit tricky for the beginner, but practicing different stitches beforehand (especially cables and seed stitch!) and going further through the pattern will make it better! also the creator of the heart cable stitch has a video on their website, that was really helpful to follow along once you make a few sections of the pattern it will get easier and you'll get a hang of it! i believe in you! 🤍
@lilbunnyxo10 ай бұрын
@@lilbunnnybo thank you so much for the advice + input 🥹 i already crochet but knitting is on a whole other level and i am forever impressed with people who can 😅 i’m off to practice and make the cutest little heart scarf (maybe before valentines day if i practice enough lol)
@KittyPikaChu10 ай бұрын
the scarf pattern is literally perfect timing.. i bought red yarn for no reason at all and i’ve also been wanting to knit a scarf, so thank u so much!
@Mi-be1os10 ай бұрын
Hey! Just a tip for undoing mistakes in knit (easiest done with interchangeable needles): Before you pull your needles out, take another cable with a thinner needle attached on one side and a stopper on the other side. Then go through all the loops (on the row you wanna go to), making sure that the right "leg" of the stitch is in the front. Once you have picked up all the stitches, you can just pull out your old cable and unravel until you reach the new one. Change out the needles and voila! Instant game changer! :D

i really appreciate that you show and talk about your mistakes/problems along the way. ive been on and off knitting for 8 years (crocheting for 2ish years), and cable knitting had been one of those things that i tried a couple of times and could not figure out. but seeing you do it a few times now and seeing how BEAUTIFUL that mikasa scarf came out makes me want to try again! i love that you've ventured more into knitting while also improving on your crochet skills because you're really good at both! thanks so much for your content, and i cant wait to see more :)

I love all of your stuff. If you're having trouble with the stitches unraveling when you have to frog your work knitting, I suggest looking into tinking. It takes a bit more time in my opinion, but it's worth it to not have to worry about your work unraveling for projects with fewer stitches.

Okay love love love the scarf! It’s so beautiful! As for the jiji tapestry, you could honestly still make it a tote bag with that being the whole size and then a back with either the brown color plain or another tapestry and then the colors in between the two panels as a sort of edge to make it like a rectangular prism with stripes along the edge. Idk if this is making sense at all but I think it would still be cute as a tote

I would have turned those last 2 into a bag, any way, making the other 6 squares, as planned (but smaller), using them as the sides and bottom of the bag (2 each). The lining would then contain a pocket in the bottom, to insert a heavy piece of cardboard (similar to what is used on the back of cheap furniture), providing the stiffness needed for the bottom of the bag to hold its shape, which would be removable for washing, and replaceable as needed.

Hey Ikoxun! I just had a couple of crochet ideas for the "Crochet From Film" series that I would LOVE to see, and surely many others! 1. In The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the main character, Lucy Gray, has a purple crochet bathing suit worn in the movie and it would be a bit hit to make! 2. In season 5 Episode 10 (Moroccan Christmast) of The Office (US Version), Phyllis has a crocheted bag in the cold open in the beginning of the episode (It's not a movie, but I still thought it was be a hit) Thank you so much, I really look up to you and your ideas! :))
