It's me. Thank you Jesus for going thru this before me. I love you Lord. I can't stop the tears this afternoon. I am so sad and want to be closer to Jesus. I am hurting from losing my marriage due to my PTSI. Jesus rescue me.... touch me.... heal me....use me like you did with Elijah. Hear me cry. Catch my tears.

My Daughter killed herself Tuesday night. All her family tried to help her for years. The pain as her Mother is hard. I know she is with Jesus.

@Jaclyn Hobbs My ❤Grandma Heart❤ just broke for you hearing those words. Jacklyn, I know your ❤Mothers Heart❤ must be broken and miss her with every breath. Depression and anxiety just eats a persons soul and body. Sometimes a family just cannot help a person's need to escape their pain. She is now completely whole, feeling a love we cannot fathom, and AT PEACE. You are very brave and an inspiration for even sharing your story with us. I'm sure you have helped heal someone's heart understanding sometimes there is nothing you can do except let them go to Jesus. I will certainly pray with all my heart for you. If I may ask, how are you doing since it has been 5 months since your comment? Your precious daughter is now experiencing the love, wonder, and joy of Heaven but I just wish I could comfort you in any way! ~ "Pooh", a Tennessee Grandmother ❤

Which God are you on about? because the God of the Jewish scriptures is very different from the three God's of the Christians. because I have noticed a lack of continuity between the teachings of Jesus and the teachings of Paul, Jesus seem to affirm the teachings of the Law ( Torah ), when someone in Matthew 19:16-19 came to Jesus, and said to him, ''Good teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? In reply Jesus answered, and said, why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God, but if you want eternal life, keep the commandments, so I can see throughout Jesus's ministry he's constantly emphasising the importance of keeping the commandments, again, in Matthew 5:17 he said think not that I came to abolish the Law, I did not come to abolish it, but to fulfill it. Matthew 5:19 therefore, anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall he be called least in the kingdom of Heaven, in contrast Paul says you are no longer under the '' Curse '' of the Law, which is the commandments, see Galatians 3:10 and 3:13, Romans 3:28, Paul said, therefore we conclude that man is Justified by faith without the deeds of the Law, it's quite clear Jesus and the Jewish scriptures is teaching that God's Law/commandments must be observed, and Paul who wrote 50% of the New Testament is saying that God's Law is cursed. it is a big Dilemma for me, which is causing anxiety and depression. any suggestion?

My understanding is this...We are all sinners and the law was useless in stopping the sin and so God sent Jesus as the atoning sacrifice for all of our sin once for all. It is thru Jesus that we are made righteous and atoned for. I am no theologian. Just seeking Jesus and trying to follow him each day.

Jewish Law contained many, many more rules than the 10 Commandments. No matter how people struggled to follow these perfectly, it was impossible with our sinful nature. They were unable to save us. Jesus came to free us from slavery to the impossible. He summed up the way we are meant to live by calling us to love God above all things, and to love one another. To do this (with the Grace of God) enables us to bring His Love and Peace into this world, and to become the people we were created to be. We are now His hands and feet because we follow Him, but we do not save ourselves. Only Jesus does that for us. God bless you and keep you as you make your way. You are loved!
