Even in India, you need to pass exams to be a certified trainer from a reputed institute. And the level is much higher on international institutes. So pretty sure he got a pediatrician/dietician degree. Which is basically a doctor related to food and nutrition.

Nah, that's too much. Eat around 1.2-1.6 g/kg of bodyweight.

1.5 gm/kg bodyweight is just fine but if someone is into high intensity training or a professional athlete then 2gm/kg bodyweight is required.
