For me it was the other way around. My son taught me to be vegan. He became a vegan chef and is amazing. This year marks 20 years since I have eaten meat or dairy.

I liked how you discussed the film "Earthlings". While I think it is a good film, I couldn't watch it either. I am too sensitive. I have been vegan since 2010 and a vegetarian since high school. Great show you two! I enjoyed it

I just couldn't get past the first few minutes. I just had to remind myself that i wasn't not the person they were trying to reach. I already knew all this. That's why I stopped eating animals. I think for those of us that are vegan, we already get it. Right?

To answer your question--Perhaps y’all could talk about using dates instead of conventional sugar & sugar substitutes. Y’all are out there in date country & people need to become more aware of luscious dates, powdered dates, date paste, and pure date syrup. 🌱🕊💚

I am 67. Vegan for 8 years. In great health. Friends my age are getting sick and several have died. They dont want to hear the wfpb message and accuse me of preaching. So sad to just watch their health decline. What to do?

All you can do is set a good example. Hopefully they start asking questions. But you can force people to listen. They are way too stubborn.

that is so sad about the girl in your class now allowed to ask questions at home. I always worry about talking about veganism to my son's (10) friends. I worry their parents will complain.

It is because of that girl that I never say "Because I said so". I always give kids a place to come in order to ask questions about anything. When you cut off the questions, you cut off the learning.
