Can we stop judging a woman’s “prime” by her ability to give birth. Women are MUCH more than our ability to carry and push out a baby. And I’m saying this as a married mom of three. My children are only a part of who I am as a woman. And honestly, my prime is right now at 42. Il the best I’ve ever felt about myself. And yeah, I still have to tell men daily that I’m married and not entertaining anyone else.

Well, for marriage potential, it plays a factor, most women are most attractive in their 20s, have the best chance to bear children. You may consider 42 your prime, but if you were single, you’re not a prime candidate in the dating market.

Sorry but a woman's prime isn't late 30s. The older women get after 30s because a higher risk pregnancy. No hate to women who do but it's just a simple biological fact

It’s predominantly because the quality of our eggs decreases, not because it’s genuinely more dangerous in modern times. There’s also more than one way to have a child, and it’s wise to wait until you’re financially secure even if that means you’re thirty.

Your “prime” is not based on your childbearing ability. Women are more than just birth givers.

Y’all he is talking about the dating pool. Studies say woman are most attractive to all men around 25. Your self actualization has nothing to do with it
@chibibloodxx98
@chibibloodxx98 Ай бұрын
The straight dating pool maybe? The studies you’ve read only apply to straight men and women, saying ALL men are attracted to 25 y/o women is a fallacy - the global average of heterosexual people are believed to be around 80% of the population leaving 1.5 billion people who don’t identify as straight. Speaking as a damn queer myself, self actualisation is more important to me than the timeframe of anyone’s reproductive “prime” when it comes to dating.

@@nathanconnolly395 yes, I used the 27 country ipos survey numbers because it’s notoriously difficult to count the gays in a country where it’s illegal or taboo to be gay. Do you think gay men find women between the ages of 20 - 35 attractive? Or if lesbians find women more attractive in that age bracket? I’m trying to point out how utterly pointless it is using something like a persons’ “prime” to measure something that is completely subjective.

I’m confused why the general consensus of straight men defining beauty seem to be so focused on looking young or the ability for a woman to have children. Like it’s so common for straight women to like older men because of things beyond their looks (emotional maturity, life experiences etc) which makes sense to me. As a queer woman, I’m also attracted to those features in older women. I understand the topic of discussion is extremely subjective but specifically focusing on attraction, it’s wild to me that a lot of these comments are giving specific age ranges of a woman’s “prime”, something that isn’t necessarily a measurement of attraction but are using it as such anyway? Idk, I’m just confused at the obsession with youth or looking young being attractive and frankly, it seems kind of weird. Could be personal taste but if I got with someone on the basis of “they look amazing in their early-late 20’s” isn’t that immediately setting the relationship up to fail? I mean, we all perceive the passing of time and it takes a serious amount of denial and stupidity to expect the person you find attractive to not be affected by it so what’s the point in obsessing over and assessing partners on something that will inevitably quickly change? Don’t y’all understand that these kinds of thought processes are probably worsening that loneliness epidemic I keep hearing about?
@evanbauer7972
@evanbauer7972 Ай бұрын
It’s been like this forever. And the “loneliness epidemic” is new. It’s just a fact, women prefer older men that are financially secure, and men prefer more beautiful young women. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just how it is. Attractiveness may be the initial factor, but it goes deeper. Most divorces are initiated by woman, commonly because they start to do better financially than their man. Isn’t that just as bad? Whats more shallow, judging by appearance or income? Especially considering women now days want their man making better 500k-1 mil.
@chibibloodxx98

@@evanbauer7972 where are you getting these “facts” from?? Like specifically because I’ve literally never had a conversation with a divorced woman about how her ex husband didn’t earn enough money. Please tell us the study that says specifically the primary reason women divorce men is due to financial reasons because it absolutely isn’t, that’s totally baseless. What you’re talking about rn is an opinion, which you are entitled to but have a bit of integrity and back it up with more than a quote from a podcast please 🥲
@evanbauer7972
@evanbauer7972 Ай бұрын
@@chibibloodxx98 It’s not an opinion lol. Look these things up on your own, its the middle of the night, and I’m not digging for this information rn. Its a fact woman initiate divorce more, 70% more, kinda throwing out your point that men dating by appearance is set up to fail.
@chibibloodxx98
@chibibloodxx98 Ай бұрын
@@evanbauer7972 it doesn’t throw out my point at all, I was talking about dating not divorce but since you’re insisting on having this conversation without providing anything to support your point, here’s a citation: “International studies have found highly endorsed reasons for divorce to be marrying too young, communication problems, incompatibility, spousal abuse, drug and alcohol use, religious differences, failures to get along, lack of love, lack of commitment, and childlessness, to name a few.” (Al Gharaibeh & Bromfield, 2012; Savaya & Cohen, 2003a, 2003b; Mbosowo, 1994). It’s a fact that women are more often the initiator of divorce and the primary reason is not based on the partners financial situation at all. You can’t cherrypick evidence out of convenience, there’s absolutely no integrity in that

Career nd whatever who cares but of course the more you work the better you get...leveling up mentally is a diff sort of prime imo

Bruh…. Is that homie really gonna sit there and criticize women on their attractiveness solely because they’re 30… I’m not calling him ugly, but I am saying I wouldn’t be remotely affected if he thought I was unattractive. 😅 He’s criticizing an entire demographic of women for being ugly when they wouldn’t date him either way. I’m not gonna let a homie like that tell me my prime ends in three years. 😂 Thank you for commenting on how a woman FEELS not just how she looks to single men she probably wouldn’t date anyway.

I look 10 times better than I did in my 20s. I'm 32 now, and Im getting hit on more than I ever have, and I have been pretty blessed with the amount of attention I've got in those years; I never thought I'd still be getting carded, and asked out even more at 32. It's all in how you take care of yourself, and definitely - your inner dialogue has a lot to do with how you feel, and how you hold yourself.

So we're just lying to women? Just flat out? What, are we girls such toddlers we must be lied and pondered to before we cry and need a binky and a nappy nap? I'm a woman in my 30s; I know biological reality is I'm not a catch in the dating pool. Good thing I'm a grown up who can handle that. Also, pregnancy past 35 is high risk. If you're gonna lie, maybe make the lie harmless.
