What a great arms workout. This is actually the workout I used to do nearly 20 years ago. For those who want big arms try doing this 3 days a week for 6 weeks. By your third week anyone who saw you in the first week will be amazed how much size you put on by the 3rd one. You might not realize it as you see yourself every day but those who only see you occasionally most definitely will

If your doing this, or did this three days a week, you are training seven days a week in order to hit chest, back, shoulders and legs the other four days
@RoomAtTheTopStudio10 ай бұрын
@@CalvinK225 No. You only train four days. You concentrate on arms for three days and you do breathing squats, bench press and calf raises on the other training day. It's done during bulking, hence the breathing squats session once a week. You do this for six weeks then change the routine to regular body part training. I got this method from an Iron Man magazine in the early 2000s

The standing concentration curl that Arnie used in pumping Iron is probably the best exercise for a bicep pump. Seriously, it really works. You can be training arms and thinking nothing much is happening regarding the pump. The amount of times I've took pre workout and done barbell,dumbell and incline curls and I'll get a burn but as soon as I change to concentration curls,my arms balloon up and it feels blummin fantastic. Trying to curl it to the deltoid of the arm you're pumping. I do it so the dumbell finishes near my nose,it really works and is often overlooked. In fact I reckon doing just concentration curls would best.

i struglged for years to get my triceps to grow the way i wanted... my biceps seemed to grow whether i trained them or not oddly enough but genetics can be a cruel thing..however when a guy showed me sumthing to try which is an old school excersice i dont see much of anymore and its basically seated dips..using 2 flat benches one your hands go on and the other bench you rest your feet on and just push with your triceps up and down..no weight on the warm up then introduce sum weight plates by just laying them on your quads..its def easier with a training partner..i got to be able to use 3 45 plates after a while and that one exercise made my triceps really grew alot..my eyes and my own negative mind will always think my tris are week but the tape measure doesnt lie.. i got to get my arms to 19inches which i never thought i could..they were stuck at 17in for years..this mov,ent got me 2 inches of growth on my arms of course with the other tricep movments along with it..skull crushers cable push downs etc....

I’ve only recently seen your instructional videos and they have some very helpful tips (I bought a pair of ankle bands to do side lateral cable raises 👌). I also get a kick out of your subtle, dry humour, “I see people lifting heavier weights, then I see their arms and wonder where the muscles are, because they’re not present.”🤣😜 Congratulations on your recent triumph 🏆.

I love your style of training Wesley and always respect your classical form on exercises. However on the close grip bench you might find more benefit with a modern style, Rich Piana demonstrated this perfectly. Tucking the elbows and bringing the bar to the top of the ribcage with a shoulder width grip.

You see by his exercise form that he really feels his muscles and don't just does static movements but often dynamic movements. From him you can learn about the correct form and the important details of exercises, not from those hipster guys telling you to always do full range of motion, stand still and don't use momentum.

Peterson is light yrs ahead ..Wes is top 5 though
@lkjslkdjfglkjsldkfjl5 жыл бұрын
Peterson only has the advantage cuz he's short, I want to see a tall builder like Wes win, takes a lot more to properly fill a larger frame. If Wes were as small as Peterson hed already be winning right now given how much work he's been putting into it. Simple physics, larger frame/body requires more work hence more muscle to lift the same amount of weight simply because of the increased distance they have to take to achieve the lift. Why do you see short people squatting and deadlifting more than taller folks? Common sense y'all, now that I got all the short people enraged at me, comment below at how very very wrong and misinformed I am, never fails. Ignore them and just think logically based on what you've seen if you don't believe me.
