Thanks bro! I'm taking it slow so when I get a PR, I know it's a real one and not some BS

@@OldManArmStrength have you ever wrestled any people that you know yet or have anybody that’s pulling with you. I bet you were destroying most people you know right now if not all of them.

@@33Bama33 Yea a few, and I was stronger than them....but the bad thing is that it isn't very popular in my area so I need a good training partner. The only person that shocked me was a huge 400lb Native American guy with forearms the size of an IFBB bodybuilder's thighs at the VFW. Dude looked like Brian Shaw. He was a unit!

@@OldManArmStrength damn dude that is crazy. I would’ve loved to pull that big motherfucker even if he kick my ass!!! Man the handle that guy must’ve been crazy lol the same way where I’m from it’s not very popular and the pros I trained with move away. I found some pros where I’m at in Tennessee. I’ve been Arm wrestling at the gym but now I’m going back home I’m thinking about just starting an online Facebook, Arm wrestling , group, group, and inviting people from my area so I can figure out who armwrestles that would be a good idea for you to do to find people

Solid lifts! Have you ever checked the weights on those plates? I have the same ones and my 45s both weigh nearly 47lbs lol
@OldManArmStrength4 ай бұрын
I weigh them sometimes, but I don't bother with it too much. as long as I'm adding weight every few sessions, progress is being made. I have weighed stuff in past videos, but kinda figured it was pointless as long as it's within a few lb.
@GrassLogic4 ай бұрын
@@OldManArmStrength Yeah, I hear ya. As long as you're using the same plates all the time it's all relative. I did enjoy realizing my PRs were 4-5lbs heavier though, especially because one got me past the 100lb milestone in my favorite lift

@@GrassLogic Haha yea. Funny how a mental block will hold us back sometimes even though the body is capable of doing it. A least realizing that your PRs were heavier is good positive reinforcement!
@GrassLogic4 ай бұрын
@@OldManArmStrength You said it brother! The mental aspect is wild...once I realized I was already over 100, I added 3 more pounds to the PR over the next 2 weeks
@OldManArmStrength4 ай бұрын
@@GrassLogic Exactly. Right now I know I'm over 100. It's a matter of factoring in fatigue and if I can continue to do it every day at this rate. It's the whole reason I'm moving forward slowly unlike in the past. Even a lb or a half lb a day is a victory for me.
