I’m American & I can’t hear any difference between “flour” and “flower” either. I think it’s only in the spelling. When I was 10, I loved to bake cookies & made a huge mess in the kitchen. My mother later confessed that she couldn’t stand to watch, so she went into the living room & sat down. Carlos, maybe you should try that, then enjoy the final product. You are both competent men!

It was always tradition growing up in Maine and being French Canadian, that our Mom made us crepes on a snow day. We would put a bit of butter and brown sugar then roll them us as you did. Loved seeing you both back in your warm kitchen, making us laugh ❤

I make the same way! And we call them Norwegian pancakes too, because Grandma and Grandpa came from Norway! Sometimes fresh blueberries and yoghurt, sometimes fresh lemon juice and sugar. Love ya! God bless!!

most people make the mistake by flipping too soon the first pancake. you'll have to wait till the butter in the pan is hot than do the dough in the pan and wait till the upperside is dry before you flip the pancake. 100% succesfully that way even the first one ;)

Oh, I had such fun watching you fellows in the kitchen! I understand Arne's bachelor diet--it's not fun to cook for only one person. That said, it is good Carlos is back to get everything back on track! I cracked up when Arne said there would be LOTS of holes in the pancake when it is eaten! Reminded me of when I was a child, fussing at food mixing on my plate and Granddad saying that it would all be mixed up in your stomach anyway. That cured me.

Being Norwegian living here in America, I have been eating these pancakes all my life. They are so much better than American style pancakes. I can eat them until I bust, they are soooooo good. Thanks, now I want to make a batch for dinner. In our family, we put lots if butter then lifts if sugar down the center and rolled them up. Never syrup. Sometimes strawberry or lingonberry jam on top. I flip mine with a fork.
