The world of capitalism should change now. There is enough wealth in the world. The problem is, few have a lot. If just the fucking 20 richest billionaires in this fucking world would give 10 % of their ffucking fortune to Ukraine they could rebuild almost everything. But instead they buy private planes and wine etc.Fifa could spend 1 billion of their incoming in the fucking catar championship but they dont care at all. Norway could spend say 20 billions because they're rich but they probably wont. In the end this is my prediction, those kind of people should spend voluntarily. They should make a global spending campagin when the war is over. But the problem is, there are also other countries in misery, for examples Pacistan or Ethiopia or Jemen. I would spend something if I had a steady income.

The problem with residents who refuse to leave heavily dangerous areas- is that they put more than just themselves in danger. Volunteers, soldiers etc have to risk extremely treacherous journeys to provide them aid etc - and it then puts those people at risk as well. I understand majority are extreme poverty, disabled etc. But aid groups are providing mass centres for them to live in safer regions - it's not perfect but its safer for everyone.

The sooner Ukraine receives the military assistance it has been requesting, and which it needs but has not yet received in full, the sooner they will have a decisive military defeat over Russia. If history repeats itself, another brutal, amoral, corrupt dictator will ascend the Tsar's throne. That has been the rule for 1,000+ years of Russian history: might is right. Russia has many decent, ordinary people who want rule of law, justice, democracy and freedom. I worked and travelled in the former Soviet Union for four years and spoke enough Russian to be able to converse with Russians in outdoor markets, on busses and on trains. They know that the most likely result of defying Putin is jail or death. Few humans have the courage of Alexei Navalny. Ever since Russia allowed people to leave in the early 1990s, millions have done so. Until there is major change in the ideals of both ordinary Russians and their rulers, the Russian government will continue repeating its own history. Therefore, the arms race will also continue, along with irreversible destruction of Earth's atmosphere. What can ordinary people do? As little harm as possible, as kindly as possible, every day.
