And even then summoning doesn't guarantee a win. If your phantom allies die early now you have to fight a boss solo that now has the hp for 2 people, or 3. But yes if they are good they can finish the bosses for you.

Daniel Antony but vordt’s hammer is shit? It’s a scale-upgrade weapon so it’s impossible to infuse or buff, it’s super slow, its damage output is mediocre unless you build pure strength and nothing but for like 90% of your playthrough, and its only salvageable aspect is that it pumps out frostbite like a motherfucker. It has some utility for PvP, but for a casual PvE playthrough it’s like hamstringing yourself with a rusty nail.

Daniel Antony there’s no need to be so confrontational. And I’m not speaking in a sense of the metagame here, i specifically mentioned that meta wise Vordt’s Greathammer is actually fairly decent. I was talking solely in the context of a solitary PvE gameplay experience, since the playstyle he adopts (that being, relying on a heavy weapon’s hitstun and hoping to tank any hits that make it through) while acting the character of this colossal buffoon is directly counter to the design philosophy of Souls games in general. I encourage you to take a look at HBomberGuy’s video on Bloodborne, titled “Bloodborne is amazing and here’s why,” for a better explanation of that design/gameplay philosophy than I can give.

The parry isn’t rlly even worth it, just shield for her hit chains and then r1 spam w a bleed weapon. Most of her jump attacks u can get behind for a backstab too
