Let me see how honest you are western godless and souless person to respond all that: I know that you are western, godless and Souless wester (that is the logic, prove me wrong if you can or do not say anything please ☺) (do not ask yourself how I know, because that is 100% accurate, right? But why you are a westerner godless and souless person, ok?) Atheism is mainly from the west, and the west is rich, so people prefer have been confused by Money, and money produces materialistic societies... so a healthy society) Prove me wrong. You just have been trapped in this stupid modernity. Prove wrong (and do not be pride as all westerns) Plus we westerns have been arrogant to all other societies, cultures and people (more then anyone else) and so we are very arrogant trhogout God now, but we are the worst humans, we created so many wars, so much dangerous technology, imperialism and so on. So we think to be at the place of God, that why we do not him... Plus most of those people are youths and youths tend to be Godless and Souless, and they do not care that according to that idea system it makes you not have objective morality, they do not know where they morals come from (because they do not know where their morals come from, right??), plus the Atheism makes you believe you will be nothing once death, but you do not think about that when you are young and strong, but much you get older and closer to the death you become more religious because God and the idea of an Afterlife is the only thing make you go ehaed... So basically you can not prove if there is a creation there is not a creator (can you??? Plaese answer this question with an answer not with another question if you can do) That why the West is so fucked up. Follow the money and bad church decision... By the way can you prove God does not exist? Plus can you tell me where your morals are from?? Please answer IF you can western godless and Souless person. Can you tell what comes from 0 (as you think the Big Bang was created by himself and not with an external Intervention) without using any external intervention??? (Now let see western and godless logic and stupidity): I do not believe The "Phisics" exist, (of course I do but, let follow your logic) can you prove me with evidence it does?? You are the people of evidence because you can not seen the Beauty of the creations and you think you own science? But what is the better evidence, that you are alive, and if you are alive is not just because of your parents Because who created your parents? Tell me. Nothing? for real? How ridiculous is such claim? What you did not understand in this "if an intelligent people such you needed an intelligent supreme being to design and create you? What you do not understand if exist such beautiful world an intelligent supreme being had created it?" What you do not understand if exist such beautiful world an intelligent supreme being had created it?" Cant you answer me about all those 3 questions??? What you did not get about that? Neither do I believe in Astrology, but can you prove me with evidence that it does not exist? Now I have something very important you do not: God a Trust in him I pray him I thanks to Him (and also my parents to be alive) I say "God Bless you" I have a straight, which is him (that you do not have) So you got much lesser then me. Ask yourself why! And if have none of those things are better or worst for you! Are it better? Or Worst compared to us believers?? Tell me (and be honest).... You still are in disvangegious places. As we believe we will go in a better life once death and we will live forevere (so we believe we have to put the best we can do, not only for this life but for the afterlife: while you do not, you care only about this life) Howeverer you think you will be NOTHING once death (as yourself if it is better for your kids and yourself to believe in a good afterlife, if you act good, or in NOTHING).How sad is that? How sad is to think you will be Nothing, without any hope for death??? May God Bless you ☺... Man I will pray for you to have (believe) God again in your life. Also because: Believe in God is *Free (prove wrong if you can) * It those not require any political changes (believer can be con right, centre, wing, liberal, conservative and so on). * You will not change that Much, only Believe in Him (Prove me wrong about that too) * Once you are alone it is only Him you have (Prove Me wrong) * So if you feel sick (Prove me wrong) * Or Someone of your family, unfortunately. (prove me wrong) * once you get older you will have him (prove me wrong) * Or before to die (Prove wrong) * You will not think the people who lived and the one you knew left this world are Nothing (and in some cases is like they never existed, because none remembers them or have a picture of them, but have reached God. (Prove me wrong) * You will see people not just human but sons with a Father (which believe me will help, because you give them another positive attribute, which will help you to define them with more meaning).((Prove wrong) * You will have another purpose in this life: which is not. Be good and help people, but pray for them (and praying is a religious thing) and work not only for this life but also for after life, because working for the next life give you more hope and let you think about your future future... Just as you think for tomorrow.(Prove wrong) And, again, basically we stop this thing that we westerns do to be the most arrogants people in the world, and again losing the faith on God, only because we live in a healthy society we want live materiliscally, especially for our youth (they will need God anyway once older, believe it or not). (Prove wrong) I hope you understand that (without any further questions) May God bless you and the peace for Jesus upon you ☺

@@parapoliticos52 it certainly can be, if you actually teach them the things that they need to learn, rather than fake history and fake science and prevent them from learning anything about how the world actually works like Christian homeschool does. If you do secular homeschool, yes you can actually do better than public schools, but I also think that anyone doing homeschool teaching should be required to have a teaching certificate. There are plenty of people claiming that they're homeschooling their kids who are woefully unprepared to do so

That's actually in a lot of less sophisticated search systems. Words like "not', "or", and "and" are sometimes reserved keywords. Usually, in order to search for a phrase that actually contains the keyword, you'd need to encapsulate the phrase in quotes. Of course, this generally also means that the system will limit the search to those specific words in that specific order, so it's not ideal. That's probably why more sophisticated search systems have developed better ways to utilize conditional operators.

As someone who was Christian homeschooled with things like abeka books in the 90s/00s, I think there is a fair amount of educational neglect in Christian homeschooling which is an actual issue that needs to be addressed but nobody can touch it with a ten foot pole because of Christian persecution complexes.

I also grew up in a Christian homeschool family and honestly I got a better/more thorough education than most of my public-schooled peers. Homeschooling is a two-sided coin and is as terrible or as great as the parents who decide to take on the responsibility. My parents were Christian, sure, but made sure critical thinking, was always at the forefront of their education. They emphasized open-mindedness and told me early on that the best way to understand any issue is to research and question all sides and to never blindly accept anything, especially something as important as religious advise. In highschool, I took some science classes at a nearby Christian private school (only science because my parents weren't confident in their ability to teach highschool level science without a real lab to do experiments in) and the private school used a really biased Christian curriculum. I was so shocked by it's closed minded approach to Evolution that I when home and researched evolution by myself, simply because I'd been taught that no POV should be accepted until both side have been critically considered. I got a much better understanding, simply by researching articles and books on my own in the methods my parents had taught me than I did from the classroom. Because even after I'd gone past the level of knowledge my parents were comfortable teaching at, I'd been taught how to learn and that carried me much better than a classroom teacher in this case. That's a long ramble, but the point is that, like with most cases, when a lot of freedom is given out you get a lot of different approaches and results. Give a swing a long tether and you'll see the highest highs, but also the lowest lows, and radical extremes become possible on multiple sides. Some parents use homeschooling to brainwash their children and hardly education them at all, but it can also be a really great experience, where you have the opportunity to get highly personalized attention, and parents who are great teachers build great relationships and really do right by their children in passing on their knowledge and experience. When I started taking college classes,I was shocked that many other students didn't even know the basics of how to write and essay, nor the first facts of history and US government. There are so many many students who fall through the cracks in the public school system and plenty of teachers who just stop giving a damn and let students pass, without even a giving them a basic understanding of the material. Homeschooling is a two-sided coin and I think it should be protected as an educational option in this country, - but not for the ridiculous reasons this trailer is showing.

I was a non-Christian homeschooler around that same time but I was surrounded by conservative Christians constantly by virtue of them being the only other homeschoolers in the area and can remember having discussions with my mom about how a lot of the kids I was around were learning different stuff from me because of their religion, or how she had trouble finding text books that weren't overtly religious... I can remember one year where it seems like we constantly had to go to the library to research stuff my history book was leaving out or barely glossing over (surprise surprise mostly stuff to do with slavery, indigenous people, and the Japanese-American internment camps).

@@chukwumapaul7277 Yet again, someone that thinks all atheist people are just angry with God, instead of lacking evidence for a deity. I was a christian, I didn't go through some kind of traumatic event, I am an atheist, not because of angry with god for doing something, instead I lack evidence for a god. I've spoken with other Atheists, and that seems to be the how most feel. I've heard a few people talk about how if there were a god something might not occur, but that's pretty rare. Sure, if we have some moral argument an athiest might bring up that as a counter to some religious claim about morality. I find moral arguments to be the least effective on either side. Someone can always justify it in some vague and unspecific way about god working in mysterious ways, and have very different views on morality than another equally religious person.

1:00 totally true. When the second one came out, I saw a documentary “The Insanity of God” the week after. It’s the story of an American Christian, who realizes he’s grown up in a bubble, and sets out to speak to, and learn from, people who actually went through persecution (Middle East, Russia, China) and continued to believe and why. It isn’t a perfect doc, but it is interesting, and really was powerful, juxtaposed with “teacher goes to Supreme Court to cry.” Great video!

what this specific brand of christians always seem to not understand about atheism is that to hate god or believe he's dead... one needs to assume god existed in the first place? which isn't what atheism is?? First off, of COURSE we’d love a review! Second, I’m a university graduate and I was homeschooled as a kid because we moved A LOT, and everywhere we went, my parents always sat down with the school boards and got the teachers to go over the curriculum my parents put together and check it to make sure it fulfilled all the requirements. We also took the end-of-term CAT exams with the schools, and took the SATs when we finished high school so that we’d have consistent proof of our education if required, instead of “my mum said I was smart enough to graduate” (yeesh). We did bible studies every day, and went to church, and noted that on our school transcripts, and LITERALLY NOT A SINGLE TEACHER/ SOCIAL WORKER WE TALKED TO CARED. All this educational verification was voluntary, and initiated by us, but when Quebec made checks of homeschool curriculum mandatory, one family we knew got so up in arms about it and how it “violated their privacy and won’t someone please think of the children”, that they literally moved to the States. Homeschooling can be a great solution for kids (especially my ADHD ass), but there are certain steps you need to take to make sure your kids are being properly socialised and educated, and it’s not bad that an external authority verified that academics are being met.

The story: a group of parents and a priest must travel to another planet in secret to bring their children home. Their children are doing crazy things, like having alien friends, learning about other cultures and beliefs, and worst of all, studying evolution. The kids will nearly die tragically from an experiment involving an alien species that's really just coded atheists, only to miraculously recover by returning to the small town they grew up in that hasn't changed in 1,000 years, and praying the science away.

Christina Indeed, that's the issue, there's nothing checking in on the homeschool kids to see if they are actually learning something. Some may get a great education, however, I would dare to say that most don't, since there's a reason why teachers are undergoing years of education before getting their license and even after that are regularly reviewed by their employers. Homeschooling can often turn into what homeopathy is for medicine, a lot of talk with no actual effect. We should value education high enough to demand professionals for our children.

if you watch the credits they give dozens of court cases over persecution with universities and jobs who persecute people just because they're Christians. These movies are more than persecution because they bring truth and they bring evidence so that those who watch them who are not Believers might actually question if the evidence that they provide is true and if it leads to God or atheism. Its about our right to stand for our beliefs which we are slowly losing. A man in England was arrested and charged with a hate crime just for reading words right out of the Bible that say marriage is between a man and a woman only. Thats all.

I lived all round the american south and just seeing how it has culturally change in the past 20 years, I am not surprised by this movie and the dramatics it's trying to throw. Evangelicalism is really on the decline, and these movies, I think, are their death throes. I'll be really surprised if I see this amount of effort in the next 50 years. I don't think they'll have the will or the finance to keep throwing money away like this. Let alone any christian sects and the same can be said for their hand in politics. Old worlds crumble, as new ones rises.

I'm also a Southerner, and I've noticed the decline in general religiosity among young people, not just in Evangelical circles. Unfortunately, there's a _lot_ of money in Evangelical churches, and they've allied themselves with right-wing corporate interests to maintain that money. Folks like the Kochs (or Koch singular now, I guess) have no interest in religion, but can use Evangelicals as a voting block to support political action that helps maintain and grow the obscene wealth of themselves and other billionaires. I think Evangelical Christianity is too useful to wealthy right-wing interests to let die, so we'll probably keep seeing this kind of propaganda at least for another couple of decades.

I'm a former southerner and escapee from a fundamentalist cult. *I saw the same* . The American churches have been losing members steadily; trying to get them to win people over was not working, in fact the very ideas of tolerance, forgiveness, turning the other cheek were costing them members in the right wing. Their solution was to change the message into us vs. them. Anyone who disagreed was not just an enemy but pure evil and to be written off as irredeemable. This feeds the persecution complex but also has their members so furiously mad that they will come to church just to have those views reinforced. They are being taught to draw a circle and anyone outside their group is a threat that needs to be destroyed ... in Jesus name of course. References to the Old Testament are invoked to reinforce this belligerent stance. Next time you encounter one of these people and you wonder where their hostility and aggression comes from, that's where they got it.

I was homeschooled because my mom didn’t like the politics of the schools nor the values they taught. While I am Catholic, and we did study religion, I felt that my education was well rounded and that my parent never prevented me from going to the library and picking up books on any subject or author I liked ( even a reasonable age range of course). I think it just depends on how you homeschool. I believe I benefited from it for the most part, education wise, perhaps not socially but that was a personal choice since my parents gave us options

My wife and I homeschool our kids for different reasons - like that I believe play is largely absent from schools and modern schools are often run with an over-institutionalized approach. Yeah, I’m one of those kids that refused to do the pledge of allegiance every morning, partly because it was weird and big brother-y and partly because it referenced God, and even 5-year-old me was like “hey, what about separation of church and state?” But it’s weird the bedfellows you see in the homeschool community - some do it because they are more liberal, and some do it because they are strictly religious. It’s a weird mix.

This series is so surreal to me because I went to school with the girl who plays Brooke (the grieving student who helps sing the song) in God's Not Dead 2. She's a genuinely really nice person, the only tea I have to spill is that people in my drama class hated her and had all these reasons but it was obvious just because she was getting fame. I was friendly but not close mostly because I was the weirdest kid in class and so stuck to my own social circle mainly. And she still made time to come to my Halloween party dressed as a crayon! (I don't know why I remember that detail but I do) poor girl even stuck out when my weeb friend and the loudest theater kid started discussing why there should be an anime for every musical. So I don't doubt she's taking the roles offered not any real higher moral reason behind it. Except maybe that she gets to sing because she does have a great voice, she was always the one who got to sing the national anthem for our school stuff Oh well one other thing to confess: when we were in middle school she had a music video that isn't around anymore and our teachers told us to support her. In my terminally online brain this translated to setting up a constantly refresh tab for her to trick it into getting more views. No one asked me to do that, she didn't know, in fact at that time I don't think we even talked I just thought that's what showing support meant because uhh... I'm gonna blame it on neurodiverance and also being entrenched in online things. I don't think I did any real damage because I got annoyed at the band width choking after a day but I think that's the hottest tea and it doesn't even have anything to do with her.

Christian homeschoolers here (USA) are usually homeschooling so they do not have to teach their kids certain things. I know many and most got less than an 8th grade education and never learned about actual history or science. That is why they don't want to put them in public school. They do not have to teach their kids most things public schools do if they homeschool. My relatives homeschooled and so did most of my friends growing up. All the Christian parents I knew did it so their kids would not learn anything that could even maybe make them question the Bible and so their kids would never be exposed to secular things and would not make friends who were not also in their bubble. All the Christian homeschool kids I ever met told me they rarely had friends, didn't know any pop culture. None were taught actual science, and were given a ton of misinformation about history. Didn't read most classics and hadn't heard of many normal things. They were placed in a tiny bubble, etc, so they would not question the religion. You should review the ATI homeschool curriculum. It is a very popular one here and is available free online, now.

When I was a kid when someone said, "Let us pray" I bowed my head and remained silent, but I still had very serious doubts about a Christian God. I can think of many nearly irrefutable arguments against the existence of the God put forth in organized religion. I could sit and think of arguments and counter arguments about God, but I have come to believe that if God does exist God doesn't need our shouts of "Hosana". A lot of evil has been perpetrated in the name of "God", but that is true of nearly every belief system. I believe that if there is a God, that God does not care about our shouts of praise.
