A key thing that would be worth highlighting about the 'Unsubscribe' link here is that some email clients will find any link with text 'Unsubscribe' and add a nice official-looking (it is generated by the email client, after all) ribbon above the email, with an unsubscribe button. They don't tell you that the way that works is by just making that unsubscribe button point to _wherever the link in the spam email_ pointed to, so people who otherwise wouldn't have clicked a link _in_ the spam email will end up clicking the obviously-built-in-to-the-client button, not realising they're doing exactly the same thing.

The problem of scamming is not limited only to email or phone scamming. The problem is general, that people's natural critical thinking skills are getting weaker. It makes it easier for the real scammers, like politicians, and fake news media to operate. And I will say it has not anything to do with IQ, Critical thinking skills are special in the way that they are based on thinking about what you are doing before doing it, which doesn't really involve IQ. Anyone can do it. I have done a little study, which indicates, that the higher the education, the less critical thinking skills. Which indicates to me, that public education is the main problem here. Children from very young age are teached simply not to think, but to obey.

Spatula Grime is the best new character in the Atomic Shrimp Scambaiting Universe. We need to see him investigate more new spammy scams in the future. With his help, everyone will be aware of types of scams.

"Chnace" sounds like a name of some Lovecraftian god. Ch'nace, Great One bearing a presence where all languages and means of communications become scrambled into entropic mush of meaningless symbols.

You are a legend. Love your narration of all these videos, weirdly soothing to hear you read out all the effing around with these scumbags. Go you!

Did the name spatula grime come from the mold you found in your two piece spatulas?

The trader ones probably work in that they wait until you enter bank details to withdraw money and just take it that way. From the phone calls I had with those types of scammers, they’re more patient and I honestly think they get more people on the hook, especially now with people trying to make some extra cash on the side due to increased expenses. Heck, even I had the thought ‘what if it’s legit’ flutter through my brain before reality caught up.

Whilst I am not condoning anyone to actually try it and spend money. I would be very curious for an investigation into those ads/videos that talk about the "one special secret to getting a woman to fall head over heels with you" that pop up occasionally

Spatula Grime strikes me as a much more honest and charismatic character than the previous lot. I hope we hear more from him/her/z3;er.
