You should always take a wire brush and clean the carrier, especially where the pads sit.

Thank you for creating the informative video. You should have cleaned the caliper bracket with a wire brush and check / lubricate the slide pins using silicone grease.

Can you do this job without the tablet in releasing the parking brake.?. i don't have said software and i would like to do the brakes myself

Yes, you can handbrake off. On the brake caliper, there is a motor. Take it off, then behind the calliper there, a toxs head. I think you can tune that to release the piston in the caliper
