Great breakdown of diagnosing this fault code. It really has helped me tackling my issue. Which one of the fault codes did the car have? I’m having the 290900 code with air mass to high. The data shows that air mass is higher than air mass nominal. Im curious since the last thing I haven’t checked is that backpressure pipe.

@@AutolandScientechUSACedarPark took it apart today and exhaust pipe is clear with no soot or carbon build up. What can I check when air mass is lower then air mass nominal? Any suggestions would be really helpful!

@@sukyd9867 yes. Both EGR cooler is sooted. Ended up deleting it and remapping and all is good now.

@@MannyG-ki4xu thanks for the response this has had the egr replaced at dealers under a year ago so not sure it’s that . I’m thinking it’s possibly an air leak or boost pressure converter … too many damn electronics in these damn cars I have got a few codes 244C00 charging pressure control. Charging pressure too low 24CE00 air mass measurement air mass is too high 290900 air mass system.measured air mass too high Just seen this today 27F00 air mass system , charge air hose: Leak detected Takes a second or two to take off when you floor it
