This was hilarious. You could reupload this on April Fool's Day and people wouldn't know it wasn't a prank.

As you guys (aka just Tom) are the only people that I know of that have played both Mordred and this I’m curious 🧐 about your thoughts 💭 I know I won’t get them but still curious

They're paid to play these games. They are not going to tell you which one is better. Especially when one is currently being crowdfunded.

Re "The Green Knight" movie - if you like the idea of a thinky, artsy film which tells the story of an old english romantic poem called "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight", then you''ll like it. If you're looking for an action adventure film, you'll hate it.

Did you all prefer Avalon or Mordred from CMON?

On the exploration reward cards, would it be better if you drew the top card from a deck when you explore, and that deck is built during setup by putting the grail into the bottom X cards, where X is the player count +1? The only change to gameplay that would cause that I can see, is that this ensures that the grail is not found early on (which to me, feels more thematically consistent).

The rules could use a little work, I imagine it'll be a lot better by the time it ships. The person who revealed the beast gets +1 initiative on the bond bid, so Joey gets the Bear! Non-Lord units in an unrevealed tile are "in the mist" and cannot leave the tile until it is revealed, so the champion move at 1:22:40 isn't allowed. Don't forget to drop two warriors onto new settlements. I'm excited for this. Want to support Shadowborne Games for sure!

I wouldn t bet on it changing much. They said in interviews at Essen that they already tested the game and are just looking to produce it and ship it.

@@ij6508 Sorry, I really meant the rule book itself, not so much the rules set. There's no card anatomy for artifacts or beasts, for instance, and there's a symbol in the lower left of the artifacts cards that I can find no reference to in the rule book at all, and it may just be alternate or changed rules, but it's sure confusing right now. There are terrain symbols described in the book and on the tiles, (and in the mysterious lower left corner of some artifacts) but no mention of how they interact with anything else. Maybe it's self explanatory on the cards that do use it if you just go through every card, but a little clarification could go a long way. And perhaps the most confusing, on pg 15: "If you reveal the Holy Grail, place it face up next to the Game Board and place the Grail Token into the region. Whoever wins the battle there will gain the Holy Grail Token at the end of the battle within that region," but on page 16: "When the Holy Grail Card is revealed through flipping a Mist Tile, the Card is placed in that region. Whoever scores 1st in that region during the War Phase becomes the new grail bearer and takes the Holy Grail Token. If a tie causes there to be two winners, then the player with the lowest VPs gains the Holy Grail Token and the other winner(s) gain the top artifact from the artifact deck instead. If there is a tie for lowest VP then the player with the lowest VP value on the faction board gains the Holy Grail," So do I place the card in the region or the token? The token if no one has it but the card if someone already has is? And to make it worse on page 22: "If a tie causes there to be multiple winners in the Grail region, then no winners gain the grail and instead draw 1 additional artifact and place it faceup near the region before winners choose which artifact to take. Return the grail to its place on the Favor Track Board." I have no idea how to resolve ties for the Grail. The last two quotes seem to completely contradict each other. And just in general, I think there's some cleanup of language and grammar that could make the rules more clear. There's plenty of time for that sort of cleanup, of course!

I believe the movie Green Knight exists because I saw it, but maybe that was also in Tom's head because my opinion of the film is the exact same as Tom's.

I should have watched this before late pledging for the game. Definitely seems like a worse Wonderlands War. I dunno. Kind of a let down. Oh well. On to the next one!

I was just thinking this! I backed immediately but I think I may pass. Seems like a lot of faff. I don't generally like games where people can take their turns and others can just zone out. The 3 prep rounds seem like you can do whatever you want...
@leadhead69Ай бұрын
I wish they had a TTS mod available or something. Hard for me to know if I'll like it without playing it myself, but yeah it seemed like there really wasn't a lot of strategy behind it.
@Twister4815Ай бұрын
Can you be more specific? I dont want to watch the whole video
@leadhead69Ай бұрын
Yeah it seems surprisingly low interaction, and even the combat seems fairly bland. Units don't get removed upon death, you just do blackjack and hope you get lucky. It seems surprisingly low strategy, which is a bummer because I insta backed this. If more gameplay doesn't come out, I'll have to pass.

Thing is, i dont see me playing this over Inis, Blood Rage or Kemet. The art is really nice but the game seems average.

Not everyone is willing to watch and try to understand the longer and more complex version of the game. I disagree
