I remember a cool fan theory about this episode-This is the last episode under the name "Angry Nintendo Nerd". He then went on as "Angry Video Game Nerd" and reviews multiple types of classic games, as we all know. Now in this episode he clones himself. The clones are as follows-Angry Nintendo Nerd (the OG nerd), Angry Sega Nerd, Angry Atari Nerd, and the Angry Video Game Nerd. The original, as well as other 2 nerd clones, are killed by Freddy. This leaves just one, who happens to just be called "Angry Video Game Nerd" and carries on the dead nerds legacy.

There is something about these older videos that have a special charm to them. Whether its because James would actually drink during these, or its just because it was in its early state. It seemed like the nerd was actually angry, and the creativity just has so much more to it. Not that I hate the new episodes, but these are my favorite.

At 10:43 the Nerd standing against the wall says "I just cloned myself" so he is the real Nerd and the 3 on the couch are clones. But the one standing against the wall is killed by Freddy Krueger after taking a shit on the game and the Nerd who survives at the end is one of the clones who was sitting on the couch. So in this episode the real Nerd was killed and in all the episodes after this it's just a clone? MIND BLOWN!!!

The nerd somehow looks funnier in these older episodes, also his sort of depressed voice is really funny to. The thing i find the funniest, is how the nerd is in the intro, with Kyle playing the guitar very close to the nerd and the nerd looking pissed of at the game XD. The room also ads to the atmosphere to in a good way, it's like a teen room to me (like his room from when he lived with his parents) I think he should try to bring that back, makes him look extra nerdy :D

This game is actually really good. James Rolfe likes this game as well, he just makes fun of it because it can be difficult and cause rage quit sometimes. There are way worse NES games. I wouldn't even put this one on the bad games list. It's a really fun game, especially with 2 or more players.

Stealth's 1 Paragraph AVGN Reviews: Episode 13: A Nightmare on Elm Street Just like the previous episode this is a classic as well. James is firing on all cylinders with Freddie appearing in the episode and having it play out like the movie did in a sense. He also gives great descriptions great humor which makes it an entertaining episode all around. The cloning of the nerds was my favorite part. I especially like the segway into the next episode even though that isn't horror themed. The Halloween themed episodes as I said in the last episode are one of the strong points of the nerd. And the game fits the bill as well in terms of how bad it is. 10 out of 10

This old three-part with the less horror-esque Power Glove, will always be my favourite(any Castlevania stuff excluding the 3d crap you do, is also great in my opinion, because that one scene where the music of II Simons Quest keeps coming on, is probably one of the best Video-Game Nerd skits I've seen!)...
